Lance Cunningham Ford

Lance cunningham seems to be the only dealer in the knoxville are that i can ever make a deal with. always the best trade in values and do their best to make a deal that i am satisfied with. i have delt with preston williams exclusively for a number of years and he truely treats me like a friend instead of just a customer. this makes my fourth vehicle purchase with preston and lance cunningham, ill never buy from another dealer again, ive given them all a chance some numerous, and lance beats them everytime. more

I recently purchased a 2014 V6 Premium Mustang from Lance Cunningham Ford. I ordered the car originally from another dealership only to find out a week before I thought it was going to be here that it was going to be another month if not longer before it arrived to dealership ,so I ended up cancelling the order. Throughout this process I talked with 6 dealerships and Lance Cunningham Ford twice. It seemed as if I was NEVER going to get my dream car(because I have been looking at this car for at least a year!!!) because I felt like nobody wanted to help me. But after leaving Lance Cunningham the first time so upset, against better judgment my dad talked me into going back with him.. The second time I came in and spoke to Matt Snell. Matt completely turned this car buying experience around 220%..He was never pushy and he helped me get my dream car for a great price!!!From start to finish my car got to the dealership in less than 4 weeks. I picked the car up on 9-16-2013 for my birthday and Matt made sure it was absolute perfection, and it very much was!!! :)If it wasn't for him , I still don't think I would have my car. I really do believe Matt went above and beyond to make sure I was happy(he really got on my level) unlike the other people I have dealt with in this process. From beginning to end our experience was amazing. John showed us the vehicle we were interested in without pressuring us. He then made sure there wasn't anything else we were interested in. Once we decided to purchase the vehicle, John and Cole (manager I believe) worked hard to make sure the deal worked for both of us. We had to leave midway to make it to an appointment and everyone worked diligently to get us to a stopping point so we could go take care of our business and come back and finish the transaction. Once we returned Stephen (finance manager) worked with us on our payment and warranty. I never felt like he was trying to push anything on us or ""sell"" us anything. Rather, I really believe he was recommending what he felt was the best from the product we were buying. I bought used vehicle from lance Cunningham ford 6 months ago and have been upset ever since. I was presented a car fax that did not show front end damage that was verified through insurance co. Transmission problems occurred driving home from dealership that they did fix. But best of all was I found out that they had dyed or airbrushed the interior seats to make look like new. That was a big reason I bought because interior leather was in such good shape. About 3 months in paint starts to come off. Called Mr Cunningham and first time he hung up on me. Called back and was told he would redo but would be temporary at best. I told him I wanted what I thought I was buying....a vehicle with well taken care of interior not something that was doctored up to look that way...shameful. When we could not reach agreement I was told to stay off property. Buyer beware. more

We had called ahead to look at a vehicle. My wife spoke with John McCarthy. As soon as we arrived at the dealership and looked at the car, John was on the scene showing us all the features. We both took it for a test drive. He has a professional, easy manner that put us at ease. This is very different from our experiences at other dealerships. He was extremely knowledgeable about the features of the vehicle. We haggled for a while and also spoke with his floor manager- I don't recall his name, but he was a former Army Ranger. He was also very knowledgeable and professional. We reached an agreement and finalized with Nathan Post, who was also great to deal with. Overall, everyone we encountered was professional, polite, and knew what they were doing. There was no ""cheesiness"" like you see at some dealerships. I loved the high tech showroom. We were on the fence about what to buy, but John made it easy to decide that the Edge was the car for us. I wish I could duplicate the atmosphere at your dealership at my place of work. As a matter of fact, I'm going to start doing that. I will spread the word to others looking for an auto. Thanks! more
