I thought I could never find the best mechanics. I went through so many shops and they were all horrible prices and they wouldn't make a sweet deal. But this shop did and I love you for that. I would recommend all the people I know that have trouble to come to you. Thanks a bunch. more

I always thought everything on this car whole be expensive and complicated to fix but it's really not. The prices are reasonable and the fixes is clean and well organized. The customer service did the best job I have ever seen. Normally places I go is a big disaster but this place is the exact opposite. Fantastic service, fantastic price, and Lakeside Mercedes Repair went above and beyond. He threw in extras as well (for free!) - topping up fluids, fixing a clogged windshield washer, inflating my tires to the correct pressure - he even went so far as to give my car an oil change! ""It needed it."" He simply stated. Of course, I hope my car doesn't have problems in the future. But if it does, I know exactly where to go. more

I was referred to Lakeside Mercedes through a good friend of mine. Every positive words he said to me about this shop was true. Lakeside Mercedes is ethical, a real nice man that saved me major bucks on my service. He told me research past service bills to see when certain items were last replaced, instead of just telling me to go ahead and fix them based on the car's mileage . WOW- who does that???? The place is bare bones, no fancy waiting room, but I'd rather have bare bones than a huge bill any day. THANK YOU!! more

Lakeside Mercedes repair is an amazing place. They actually service and repair your car in the time they promise, at the cost they promise you, and when you get your car back, the work has been properly done. What an amazing concept. I totally agree with the May 19,2011 review. I took my 2011 C240 a couple years ago for an arm bushing. I got charged almost $500 and the problem still persisted so I took it back to where I usually take my car for service, Mercedes Benz of Wilsonville. They told me I needed an arm bushing replaced so I showed them the invoice I got from Lakeside Motors that it was replaced. Well, Lakeside charged me for the service and never replaced. Mercedes Benz showed me the old part. They also told me that they should give me a ride home because my car was not save to drive home. The brake needs to be replaced. So when I took my car to Mercedes Benz for that repair I asked them to check on the brake and was told it was good and I drove it for another 2 years, 30000 miles. This shop is a joke. They know enough to be dangerous. more

Recently my old 300SD has developed an intermittent problem. After it runs for awhile, the first gear slips. It won't do first gear. The engine revs up and the car slaps into 2nd gear. Not good. I took the car to Lakeside Motors, because I had read their nice CitySearch reviews. They kept the car three days. Used up a third of a tank of fuel, presumably in test driving the car? Charged me $750. By the time I got the car home, the transmission was slipping in first gear again! I called Jim. He said bring the car in, but there's no way I'll pay these guys more money to dink around with the car. I'm never going back there. Also, I'm very sure that the right rear wrap-around bumper skirt wasn't bent when the car went into their shop. It is now. more

Just completed a set of repairs - my "post purchase" checklist - on two new-to-me Mercedes. I can't say enough about the staffs knowledge, the clear explanations of what service is needed, the ease of scheduling, the care and attention to detail, and the fair prices charged. These folk are great, and I will never consider another shop for my work. more

I bring my vehicle to Lakeside Motors for repairs quite often and they are always happy to jump under my hood to see what the problem is. They are experts at getting problems solved and getting you back on the road. They are always very helpful and friendly . And it’s very nice to get your car back with the interior cleaner than it was when you brought it in! This was my second time going to Lakeside Mercedes Repair and I was very impressed and plan on using them again and again! They were fast, precise and very reasonable. Customers can't go wrong going there! I've gone to other shops before, and I can't really say why this shop is better, it just is. It's smallish, but I think that helps them to stay on really good terms with their customers. Everyone there is really nice and knowledgeable. They provide excellent customer service. I feel like I can really trust them because I don't know much about some things having to do with cars, and they figure out what my car needs done and do it. more

After too many years of going to the stealership and paying way too much I realized that if I wanted to be a long term owner of an ML430 I would either have to 1. become decent with a wrench or 2. Find a reliable shop.\r \r Although I eventually managed to be able change my own oil, spark plugs, clean my EGR tube, etc. there are some jobs too messy or complicated for me. For this I need a reliable shop.\r \r The first time I went to Lake side motors I was extremely skeptical as the reviews seemed to be hit or miss and from the outside the shop isn't nearly as impressive as the dealership. Well looks can be deceiving, they hit a home run and did an excellent job with the repair. \r \r \r The reason this is not a five star review is recently I called because I had a bad ignighter and told the person over the phone what the problem was and asked for an estimate. He argued that my make and model did not have stock Xenon lights and they have to be after market. I told them no, they're stock hella lights and this went on for some time. I ended up buying the part and installing myself (actually very easy).\r \r I am going there tomorrow to get my Power steerign resevoir replaced. I originally was going to do it myself (never have but heard it was easy) but when I thought about it figured it might be very messy. When I called for an estimate on how much to do it they asked where I got my part from. I told them autohausz and they refused to install it because they stated that the quality of there produts aren't always as good. Upon inspection they were right! The power sterring resevoir had deep scratches!! GOOD JOB LAKE SIDE! So made an appointment and for a reasonable price I'm getting it repaired\r \r more

I actually just moved here from Colorado, and I started using Lakeside Mercedes Repair right away. They have excellent staff. When I call for an appointment they get me in the next day or even the same day. They have done a couple of little things for me, like changing light bulbs, and I have also gotten their B service for my car. I would highly recommend them. I had always gone to the dealership in Colorado, and sometimes it was a good experience, but then sometimes it was a bad experience. With Lakeside Mercedes Repair, they have always been excellent. I am really, really happy with them. more

I would give Lakeside Mercedes Repair 10 stars if I could because they are awesome. They treat me like family. I have been going there for about 3 years and they are the best. They have done every maintenance job for me as well as all kinds of little odds and ends. They replaced my battery cables and fixed my window when it was stuck and wouldn't go up. I have an appointment scheduled with them to do my fuel injectors. I really trust Lakeside Mercedes Repair and feel that they are looking out for me. I took my vehicle to Lakeside Mercedes Repair for an issue, and I didn't know what it was. They took it upon themselves to look it over and diagnose what was going on. They even called the Mercedes dealership to check and see if I had my warranty still. It was still under warranty, and I needed a new catalytic converter, so that would have been $2,000 just for the part. They recommended that I move my car to the dealership and get it fixed there. They saved me that money and saved my warranty as well. If they had not been honest with me I would have spent a lot of money with them. However, they have earned my trust, and I have used them a couple of times since that incident. In fact, I will be going back in soon. more
