La Novita Salon & Spa

Rhonda is WONDERFUL! I've also had pedicures and manicures that have been great. I really enjoy being there and unless I move out of state, I will keep coming. more

There is honestly nothing I can think of that could make things better at La Novita. The staff is always professional and polite. I love when I walk in and the person at the front desk knows my name and my routine at La Novita. I am always treated like a member of their family instead of just a client. They have all the needed services, the relaxing atmosphere without the stuffiness of your typical Spa. more

We certainly hope to return here in the future! I can't believe we've gone this long without getting a professional massage until now. I think we'll have to make it a regular habit. more

Jenn has been cutting and coloring my hair for over 10 years and I am constantly receiving compliments on my hair. In those ten years I have had short, medium length, and long hair, and as long as Jenn does it, it has always looked fabulous. I have seen Jenn "fix" so many people who had bad experiences at other salons. She is for sure a color specialist and her color concoctions at the color bar are always perfect. Her updos are award winning and short stacked cuts are more than perfect. more

Classy, yet not pretentious. The pedicure is probably the best I've had, they really take their time with you and its so relaxing. The facials and massages are amazing also. more

This was so heavenly I wouldn't even bother with the 35 minute. I soaked, Linda scrubbed. And scrubbed. And massaged. And cleaned me up so nicely I hardly recognized my feet afterward. I wish I took some of the free mimosas, red wine, white wine, OJ, or coffee, but I was in SUCH a rush to soak and chill out I didn't. Super selection lol... I can't wait to go back! more

ok so this was my very first spa i have ever been to i have gone there 3+ and i have loved it. If you just want to kick back and relax this is the place to be! They give you little snacks even champagne or water! Its great they are a little expensive but if you can save up some money and spoil yourself if you are a man or woman go!!!! more

Jenn is the most talented colorist/hair stylist I have ever been to! I am always getting compliments about my color and style. more

My wife and I celebrated our 4th anniversary with a couples massage at La Novita. We were very pleased with the service and the spa overall. Upon entering, we were greeted and immediately escorted to the relaxation room where we were served champagne and enjoyed some fruits and snacks. Our massage therapists (Paul and Lisa) were phenomenal. This our first experience with a professional massage and we were both very pleased. I received an amazing haircut by Annemarie. She took the time to consul with me, asked me question about my hair no one has ever asked me before. now, I travel like a rock star! I get so much attention. She is truly a perfectionist! more

I meant to write this about 1 1/2 months ago, but kept forgetting! I had been to La Novita before, but only sporadically - I'm just one of those girls that will get a dye job and then keep putting off making another appointment. I had been having a really crappy few months and decided that I needed a change, so on a lark, I called La Novita and was able to book an appointment that afternoon to get my hair done. And Oh. My. God. I couldn't have been happier! I walked in a with mousy brown hair at the roots (and by roots I mean half way down my scalp) and reddish-blonde down to the tips. It was long, thick, and had no shape. I walked out of there with a GORGEOUS new color - warm dark brown with red undertones and an AMAZING new hair cut!! I was lucky enough to have the owner do my hair (her name begins with an "A" - and I'm completely blanking on the rest... but please know that you were FABULOUS) - and she really knew what she was doing. more

I have been going to the salon for four years now and I love it! I usually see Kerri but I have been to a few other hairdressers when Kerri can't fit me in and I have never had a bad experience. Love my hair color and cut, they truly are a professional bunch. I would recommend anyone to visit them. more

Great spa! I love coming here! I feel so relaxed every time I visit. I see Lisa for my massages and Linda for my facials and they make me feel like I am the only client there every time. They truly care about how I feel and that's why i won't go anywhere else! more

When i first arrived at the salon I was pleasantly surprised with the decor. From the beautiful marble floor, funky cool seating, gorgeous lighting and high ceilings, you feel like your arriving at a five star hotel! Five star service is what i got! I checked in with the reservationist who welcomed me to the salon, asked to hang my coat, offered me a cup of tea and escorted me to the coffee bar which had an assortment of fresh fruit, muffins, cookies and lemon water. They even serve wine and champagne. Next, I was asked to relax in the waiting area while my stylist was preparing for me. When she was ready I was escorted and introduced to Annemarie. She consulted with me and asked me questions like "what don't you like about your hair" and "when was the last time you loved your hair" I was surprised, no one has ever asked me those questions before. She made me feel very comfortable so I accepted her recommendation. OMG, Love my new hair color and haircut!! Needless to say, I found my new and best friend. I was recommended a shampoo and conditioner that was best for my hair color and style and asked to make my next reservation. Immediately after I left, I called my friends to rave about La Novita. The next day I received a call asking if I was happy with my service. Wow!! more

I happened to have the day off form work and called last minute to see if I could get in for a facial. The receptionist was very helpful and was able to schedule me in. My esthetician, India, was very professional and gave me a wonderful facial including a hand massage. For me, it was a real treat and a great experience. I will definitely return! more

I've been trying out a few salons in the area since my regular stylist has decided to stay at home after having a baby. I have had the same style for years, and I was craving something new and beautiful. Sarah at La Novita Salon definitely delivered! As I read in another review that recommended her, the girl knows how to style hair. She took the time to ask me questions like what I like about my hair, what Don't I like about it, how I'd like to see it a week from now, etc etc....nobody has ever done that with me before in a consultation. Not to mention, she's very engergetic and basically made my day. She gives a wonderful shampoo too, I must say...My hair is now a couple shades darker than the nasty mousy yuck brown I had, and shaped to bring out my best features!!! I'm in love with my hair, and I'm in love with this salon now!! Thank you, Sarah! I'll be returning soon!!!! more

THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! My wife and I were given a gift certificate for a couples massage. We arrived 15 minutes early as requested. The front desk managers were very professional, they offered to take our coats and then directed us to this tranquility room which was sooo relaxing! Our massage therapists were very professional and made my wife and I feel so comfortable. This was our first time visiting the spa, can't wait to go back! more

La Novita is a wonderful salon. It has terrific services for both male and females. I have been coming to this salon for over 12 years and always feel like part of the family. The best things about the salon are its ease of location, directly off the highway, plenty of free parking, and wonderful customer service. If you enjoy having your hair/scalp deep washed and massaged in a quiet atmosphere....this is the salon for you. I get all my services here, besides the top notch sytlists the massages and facials are superb! I would recommend this salon to anyone who spends lots of money on Newberry Street in Boston. The place is fabulous and the prices are extremely reasonable. Give this salon a try and see for yourself! more
