The food and the service can be a little inconsistant, but overall, very good food. The advantage here for us, is it is around the corner. If you are looking for ""authentic"" Mexican food in Beav in the hood, there are some food trucks that are wonderful. If you are looking for good, em, SoCal Mexi food, this is quite nice. Rice and especially the beans are very good, the house salsa, most times is very good, though a little less vinager and more real citrus, but I am being picky--bless 'em they use cilantro at least. The combos are their high spot--hence my quiveling about the ""real"" factor. The service is good and the management has been good--though the last time we were in there were whispered problems in a marriage which may effect the future of the good times that we have had in the past--which I hope were unfounded.
Pros: good tasty gringo-isque Mexi-eats
Cons: not much to whine about here
