The Mirage is one of the more spendy hotels on the Strip (rates closer to $150 than $50), but theres a kiddie/wading pool in addition to...

I've stayed at many hotels in Vegas. The thing about this one is that the rooms aren't that great and it's hard to get to them - you've got to walk through a very crowded entry an...

Loved it! 6/18/2005

Great food, service and giant drinks. Was a great little romantic dinner. But be prepared to eat ALOT! Pros: Ambiance, Good Food, Location Cons: Reservation more

Excellent Food, All you can eat Rodizio 5/1/2005

Everytime I go to vegas, I visit Samba. For $30 (only $5 more than the average buffet in Vegas now) you can get all you can eat Brazillian style BBQ. The way it works is the waiters bring out 9 different meats on skewers for you to try. After you have tried it, you can ask for the ones you like. They also give you side dishes, which is very good (I have a hard time staying away from the rice and beans). The best thing about it is that the food comes out of the BBQ and doesn't sit there all night long. I highly recommend the bacon wrapped turkey, flank steak, pinnapple pork, and their garlic sauce. Pros: Fresh Food, Ambiance, Sauces Cons: Pricey more

SUSHI 3/24/2005

WOW! If you're a sushi fan... make sure to stop here. We've been to most sushi bars on the strip and off... these guys know how to do it right. Atmosphere and service made it great too. Pros: atmosphere, sushi, service more

Best Pool in town! 3/24/2005

Last summer we spent the weekend here by the pool the whole time - room rates were awesome and can't say enogh about the pool - it's huge and the crowd is very entertaining. Pros: pool, rooms, food more

Among the best 9/3/2004

I'm not necessarily proud of being a glutton but living in LA I tend to go to Vegas a lot with friends and relatives and have been to my share of buffets. In the past 2-3 years I've been to the buffets at the following casinos: Aladdin, MGM Grand, Mirage, TI, Monte Carlo, Bally's and Paris. Of these, I'd have to rate the Mirage Buffet, with Paris, as being notably better than the rest. If you like Asian food best I would recommend Mirage above Paris although otherwise Paris is probably superior. But you can't go wrong either way, that's for sure. The sushi sucks as one might expect, but everything else was very good. The prime rib and crab were actually decent quality and not just junk trotted out to say it's there. I wholeheartedly recommend the Mirage buffet. Pros: Great quality, Good decor, Asian menu tops Cons: , Crowded more

Cravings and Satisfaction 8/27/2004

It's impossible to leave here hungry. The food is superb for a buffet. It is all freshly cooked and makes you forget it's been on a steam table! Each station has the kitchen behind it so it is being freshly filled constantly. The service is friendly and fast. Enjoyed lunch and breakfast here and can only imagine that dinner is as good! Pros: Delicious, Massive quantities, Service Cons: , Not Dietetic more

Therapists 2/14/2004

The amenities do play a portion of a spa rating but the therapist is a bigger portion. Even though The Mirage has wonderful amenities ...the massage therapist i had just couldn't get a good rating. Pros: service, amenities Cons: , therapist, showers more

Mirage Spa 1/27/2004

The massage I received was below average. Nothing special at all. The prices were too high over all. The slots are a total rip off. I lost $500 in about an hour and I will never play there again as long as I live. Pros: nothing Cons: rip off slots, bad massage, high prices more

FUN! 10/19/2003

The Mirage was great, I recommend it to everyone visiting Vegas. Be sure (especially w/ Kids) to visit the secret garden and Dolphin habitat. It was very worth it!! The place is beautiful, and the pool was great! It doesn't get more romantic than that!! My fiance and I are for sure going to stay here again!! Pros: Well worth it, Beautiful Cons: A bit overcrowded more

We've stayed here several times and are never disappointed. Just walking in the door transports you to a majical jungle where anything is possible. Pros: pool, plenty of slots, access to shows Cons: can get crowded more

We've stayed here several times and are never disappointed. Just walking in the door transports you to a majical jungle where anything is possible. Staying at an MGM/Mirage property allows you access to the most popular shows like Danny Gans and ""O"" but I would skip Siegfried and Roy. Pros: pool, plenty of slots, access to shows Cons: can get crowded more

It's no Mirage 1/22/2003

Fantastic buffet. They have beef, chicken, seafood, pork, pasta, fresh fruits and veggies. Mirage will start to give Buffets a good name. Unlike other buffets, this one is not your simple heating tray prefab crap. They actually do cook for you, just in large quantities. At this buffet you will find mass quantities of food that is at least as good as a regular sit down restaurant. The quality on everything was fantastic. Don't overdo it on just one item because you will want to sample everything. The servers, yes servers in a buffet, were incredibly friendly. Even if all they did was bring the beverages and bus your table. Pros: Value, Quality, Choices more
