The Mirage is one of the more spendy hotels on the Strip (rates closer to $150 than $50), but theres a kiddie/wading pool in addition to...

I've stayed at many hotels in Vegas. The thing about this one is that the rooms aren't that great and it's hard to get to them - you've got to walk through a very crowded entry an...

not very good!!! 11/6/2006

i saw a ad for this place in one of the las vegas entertainment papers so i said why not try there sunday brunch, well i should have stuck with my favorites (zefferinos, sterling, paris)because this was just high school cafeteria food! not gross or rotton, but really bad canned veggies over prossessed meats . tasteless cheep desserts. one of the wort buffets i have been to!! just pass and go some place else. Cons: bad quality more

Great King Crab Legs, huge portions! 10/30/2006

My husband and I dined here specificly for the king Crab legs. We both ordered them, and really, one order would have been plenty. The crab was great, the atmosphere was nice and tropical (as you would expect at the Mirage). We made the mistake of splitting a shrimp appetizer before the main course. Only a mistake as we were so full when we left there! We have ate allot of King Crab in our travels, and this was a mighty fine experience. Good drink selections also. An nice idea is to have a pre-dinner drink in the little indoor patio area outside of the restuarant and do some people watching. Hands down, we'd come again, but there are so many places to try in Vegas! Pros: Great atmosphere and King Crab more

Excellent Hotel 10/29/2006

Awesome Hotel. We loved the dolphin swim. The ammenities were excellent and the in house restaurants were better than most outside the hotel. Pros: Very modern and up to date Cons: Still has a void from Sigfreid & Roy more

Best chinese and great break from casino atmosphere 10/25/2006

The setting is serene and you'll forget the hussel and bussel outside. This is place to only eat but to dine. Fabulouse fresh food at a wide range of prices. Best Chinese food I've ever had. Get the potstickers and the fortune cookie is crisp and freshly made. The service was prompt and unobtrusive but friendly. more

reinvented 10/23/2006

Mirage is a cool place to stay, especially with its recent attempts at changing its image. Jet has brought a younger crowd to the hotel, so if you want to be around the 20's-30's crowd you can find it here. The restaurants have improved. The basic rooms are ok, but they are certainly average. Small room and out-dated bathroom. If you want a nice room upgrade to a newer or nicer room. more

Good Food 8/17/2006

The $34.95 ""Rodizio Experience"" was worth the money if you are a meat eater. The food was good and plentyful, the service was wonderful (the restaurant wasn't very busy so I can't say the service would have been just as good if it were). The only problem was that the restaurant opens out to the casino. The inside music was in constant battle with the noise coming from the casino. The would be great for a ""boys"" night out however for a quiet date, forget it ! Pros: food & service Cons: too much noise more

Vegas Classic 6/24/2006

The Mirage is a timeless place on the strip, which is why I've been coming for years. When you stay in the Penthouse suites, the sky's the limit. It's safe to assume comps, swag, transportation by limo, and the hottest guest lists in town. Pros: Penthouses, Cabanas, Spa Cons: Construction, Limited Fine Dining Options more

Vegas Classic 6/24/2006

The Mirage is a timeless place on the strip, which is why I've been coming for years. When you stay in the Penthouse suites, the sky's the limit. It's safe to assume comps, swag, transportation by limo, and the hottest guest lists in town. \r \r At the pool, book a cabana. You get privacy, tv, ceiling fan, plenty of snacks, sunscreen, pool floats, misters to keep you cool all day long, and don't forget the most important part--cabana boys and girls. My last visit took place during the Kentucky Derby and my cabana girl procured some Mint Juleps by race time...yum! Other great menu items include: the quesadillas, burger and fries, and don't forget the icecream from nearby Cocunuts. \r \r The spa is terrific. The gym, salon, and spa facilities are top notch. There are more healthy snacks available in the locker room. I'm a fan of their facials, massages, and mani-pedis. \r \r Unlike some hotel shops, the shops at the Mirage sell clothes you would actually wear: Juicy Couture, Ed Hardy, True Religion, etc. \r \r The Mirage is undergoing an expansion, which means construction. That's the only negative thing I have to say. But that's not keeping me away from seeing LOVE, the Beatles cirque du soleil at the Mirage next weekend. Pros: Penthouses, Cabanas, Spa Cons: Construction, Limited Fine Dining Options more

Best Seafood Steak house 6/15/2006

Kokomo's is an excellent restaurant. The service was good, the atmosphere was soothing and the food was fantastic. My friend had the lobster and lamb dish which was cooked to perfection. The lamb was well seasoned and the lobster was tendered and tasty. I had the Crab Legs and fillet mignon which was also good but if I had a choice I would go with the lamb and lobster. It is a little pricey but worth it. I plan on going back soon. Pros: Ambience, service, food Cons: price more
