I had a pleasant stay here.! The people were very nice. I have been in a few different hospitals before I got here. I’ve gotten better and stronger every step of the way. I’ll be leaving for Rehab soon and then will get to go home. I want to mention one of the assistants, Stephanie, She checked on me often and made sure I was always ok. The staff was always very caring and very kind and very helpful. The doctors were nice too, The therapists were very encouraging and supportive. more

My stay here has been very nice. I love it here. Everyone treats me like I’m part of their family. They make sure I get my medications and do all my therapy. When I was admitted, I was very, very ill. They began to work with me right away to get me better. When I told Maria, the housekeeper, what a good job she did, she responded that she likes doing a good job. That’s why I chose to come back to this place. I was at Roseland for about 2weeks. After they did all they could for me, they gave me a list of places to choose from for more hospital type care. I saw Kindred Hospital Northwest Indiana on it and chose it immediately. It the greatest hospital in the world! more

People have been very nice to me here. Very Nice. I haven’t met anyone else but nice people here. The nursing staff are helpful and try to help me whenever I need assistance. They are really good and really care for their patients. One of the nurse’s on staff who took care of me called my doctor and told him I needed a test done. He agreed. She is the one who took me down to the department for the test. That meant a lot to me. And now I am feeling much better and much improved from when I first got here. Hope to leave and go home very soon. more

Everybody is beautiful here. The staff has been sweet and kind to us. From the wound care staff to the people who deliver the meal trays, everyone with a position here has been very nice. We had some episodes here where all the staff - and I mean ALL of the staff - came running into the room. I saw it myself! These were emergencies. I was very impressed with their response each time. I want to thank them again! more

This has to be the best, most coordinated, most cooperative group as a whole. All the employees are caring. They work together. Anytime I need something I touch the magic button on my call light and they appear. The food is outstanding. It’s good food. Even food I don’t care for has flavor here. All I have to do is start walking now. I am so much better. I’ll be going home very soon. Wanda Styck more

Overall, my stay here has been very good, I have had some kind nurses and staff taking care of me. I have been here since the end of May and have been progressing along quite nicely. I feel better and stronger as the days go by. Everyone has been looking after my needs here quite well. more

If anybody has to go to a hospital, I would recommend coming to Kindred Hospital Northwest Indiana. The nurses and aides treat you like family, not like strangers. All the staff are so nice. The doctors are wonderful. I have been here a couple of weeks. Once I got here, I wasnt worried about the care. I met a lot of people. Juanita, Harriet, Alicia, Stephanie, Amada, Junelyn, Maria, Davchonda and LaShonta - they are the best! You can’t believe how good the care is. I was transferred here from another hospital about 3 weeks ago. I can tell you everyone here has been good to me. I really like my stay here. I’m feeling better and stronger every day. I will have to have oxygen when I go home and will be scheduling a sleep study soon. These are the types of things which will help me continue to improve and feel better. They really look out for me here. I get along with everyone - no problems. I would recommend this hospital to anyone to come here because everyone is so nice! I. D. more

The staff is good here. They treat you good. They respond to call lights quickly. They respond to pain immediately. They always ask if you need anything. As far as health care is concerned, I am doing much, much better. K. A. more

I have had no problems with staff or anything else here. I fell at home and because I was so weak, I stayed on the floor until a family member found me. The ambulance took me to Roseland Hospital and later I was transferred here, to Kindred Hospital Northwest Indiana. I can really say I have nothing bad to say about this place. Nice staff. Nice doctors. I rarely put my call light on but the staff will stop in anyway and ask me how I’m doing or if I need anything. I am feeling better and stronger now due to the nursing care and therapy I’ve received. This is a pretty good place! more

This hospital is beautiful. You’ve got some good doctors and staff here. The whole staff is good. They make me laugh. The clergy come in to see me almost everyday. When I came here I was very sick. I believe all the prayers and all the care I have received here have made me better. D.S. more

I have been in Kindred Hospital for about 2 weeks. I will admit I was anxious when I first got here but now after seeing how the staff treats me, I certainly feel much more at ease and so does my husband. The staff is really good. Today I was feeling a little cocky because I had just had Therapy again and my Physical Therapist reminded me that I needed to take “baby steps”. I know he’s right but I feel like I could just grab my keys, run out the door and go for a drive. I really can’t do that yet but that’s how much better I feel! The staff is very concerned for me. I have felt safe and cared for while here. They have taught me to ask more questions about my medical condition. Not to be afraid. I have never done that before. When I leave, it will be a new way of life for me. I know my limitations. They have taught me not to wear myself out and to take better care of myself. Angelique R. more

I was admitted to Roseland Hospital on a Friday in very bad shape. I was intubated for 3 days. After some time I was informed of this facility, Kindred,in which I could come to for additional care. I came here with some apprehension. Once I was admitted I realized I was in the best place for my recovery. The doctors and nurses are fantastic. Love the nurses; love the staff! All I can say is my stay here has been good. When I need my medications, the nurses come in right on time. If I decide to call to remind them, they are in my room quickly but most of the time they are already in here. Everybody has been good to me. I have nothing to complain about. Your people have been very good to me and I am feeling much better. more

It has been a good stay here. When I first got here, I was in a lot of pain but they were able to control it. They were concerned about me. Staff stopped by, even from their other floor, to say hello and see how I’m doing. It feels good to have people stop by to see how I’m doing or tell me “you’re looking good”. It’s hard to be in hospitals as long as I have. Their visits have brightened up my days. I feel much better. Working with the therapists have made me a little stronger each day they have come to work with me. C.S. more
