My stay here was good. I feel much better. You see, I found out I had to go through another amputation. I had already gone through an amputation before and now I needed another one. I was about to give up but the staff here at Kindred Hospital - they don’t let me give up. They keep my spirits up! R.B. more

It was helpful to be here. Some staff are a lot nicer than others - not that the others are rude but some are much more outgoing which makes your stay much more pleasant. more

I have been here before. It takes a little while to get used to being here because I am not used to staying at a long term acute care hospital. After getting to know the routine, I see that everybody is pretty well organized with their work. On the whole, the staff has always been kind. The antibiotics I am on are working. I am feeling better but I still have a little way to go. more

Kindred is a fine institution, excellent hospital. Nursing staff and assistants know their fields. Assistants give the nurses additional time to spend with patients. I think Kindred is not well known. They have to get better PR than just relying on their patients reviews. Have your doctor refer you to Kindred,,,excellent care; excellent Nursing; great assistants. The Respiratory Therapists were real good. Dan brought up some very good points. I mean they were all good but he went beyond the call of duty. He listened to my concerns and made some suggestions. He sticks out in my mind. I thought the Nurse Assistants were really, really good. They were always so courteous and attentive. They would stop in and ask if anything was needed. more

It is because of the Therapy team that I am sitting up. Roger has pushed me to do more, move more. Iris pushed me to move my arms, get stronger. They (Roger and Iris) make a good team. If Roger says he is coming back, he really does come back. Appreciate that. I had some nurses, like Cindy, always in here taking care of me. There is another one I call “Sarge” that I like too! more

Staff has been very nice here. They have taken good care of me. I was pretty sick and I still have some trouble with my breathing but I feel much much better now. more

I really don’t have anything bad to say about my stay here. All areas, from keeping my room clean to the nursing staff, were very good. I didn’t have to wait long when I put my call light on. The doctors listened to me and never seemed in a rush. I didn’t feel as if I was on an assembly line. The staff here is terrific from the ground up! Stephanie, Yolanda and Latrice stick out in my mind - 3 of the best Aides I have ever had and that’s at any facility. L. Boone more

I have been a patient here every since June 13. The staff here has been very helpful, caring, patient and dedicated. The Dr’s are very good with listening and very concerned. The Physical Therapy team is very professional and they have really helped me to make it to my next level of care. I’ve bonded with the staff and they make you feel like your a friend here.sacred cow more

I was a former employee here at Kindred Hospital Northwest IN, in 2003. I understand Kindred philosophy so I made the choice of choosing Kindred Hospital personally. I was a patient here for approximately two weeks prior to being discharged for further debridement on my my legs. I would like to say that the Wound Care Team here did an excellent job. The Dr’s answers all of my questions in a way that you can understand and the Hospital was always clean. The staff was very professional and attentive. Over all I rate my care at a five because Kindred has a great team here. more

I was admitted to Kindred Hospital a few days ago for Wound Care and Rehabilitation. The staff here are awesome and caring. They are mindful to whatever the patient needs may be. I strongly recommend Kindred Hospital to anyone seeking a strong and professional hospital stay. more

My experience with Kindred is more than I had heard of. It’s home away from home. It’s more therapeutic than I expected. The staff go beyond the call of duty to make sure their clients are satisfied. I would recommend Kindred to anyone needing their care. more

Kindred experience April 23, 2018 4/23/2018

I think if a person is ill they should try Kindred. They really should. Why? Because of the staff, the cleanliness of the hospital, they have good food, they attend to your health needs and the attentiveness of the staff. I had my legs taken care of today. My hair was done today. You get very good treatment here. I almost hate to leave because I met so many nice people here. M.W. more
