Everyone has been wonderful. All the staff have treated me with respect and caring. It’s been a good experience if you have to be in a hospital.

I have been totally pleased with the care at kindred. The staff is friendly and quick to respond to my needs. Majority of the times they are right there. Jackie and Alice , two of the PCTs , have been fabulous. They are prompt at getting me things when I ask for them. I have started therapy and starting to progress. It is a slow process for me. Respiratory has been wonderful. When I was on bi pap they were great with assisting me. They knew how much I hated it. Food has been good, no complaints there. I would definitely recommend for anyone to come to kindred if they needed to. more

Nice people 1/10/2018

The care at kindred is good. The nurses and PCTs are nice. They make you feel good. I couldn't ask for better care. There is always someone stoping in to see if I need anything. I would definitely recommend kindred hospital. more

Terrific care 1/9/2018

The care at kindred has been terrific. Everybody has been very nice and helpful and great. Martin has been fabulous. Therapy has been real good. Although I don't like doing it I feel good after I do therapy and am glad I did it. The food is really good, although they give you a lot of it. Alice the pct is one of my favorites. All around care was great. They kept my daughter,poa, well informed. more

Very pleased 1/3/2018

I have been getting good service. People have been really nice to me. Ashley, the restorative aid from therapy, has been wonderful to me. She makes me feel cheerful. All the PCTs have been really good and so have the nurses. I can't really complain about anything. Food has been pretty good too. The dietician was very helpful with fixing my diet. All in all I have been very pleased with kindred. more

Kindred cares 12/22/2017

I am very pleased with my care at kindred. The meals are good, the care is good and everything is kept clean. There are some great nurses and PCTs . Mary, Virginia, Felicia, Susan to name a few. I haven't had a bad nurse or pct. it is nice to be treated well. Questions were always answered. I loved that my dog could come visit. I give kindred 100% on everything. more

Kindred hospital 12/20/2017

I think the care at kindred has been very good. The staff is attentive and the nurses are very knowledgeable. Kathy spencer and Cindy Mullininex are two nurses that stand out to me. They are very personable. They went out of their way to be nice to me. Therapy has been real good to me as well. Edie is real nice. Sincere is also real good. The respiratory therapist have all been great. Chris was especially nice. I would definitely recommend kindred hospital. more

  • Our hospital does not offer emergency services. Kindred Hospital Dayton and Behavioral Health Unit is a 97-bed hospital. With 51 long-term acute care hospital beds, we offer the same in-depth care you would receive in a traditional hospital, but for an extended recovery period. Our 46-bed behavioral health unit offers treatment for adults ages 18+, including dedicated services for geriatric patients. The unit offers 24-hour supervised psychiatric treatment and crisis support for mental health issues and like the LTACH, we partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week so you can start your journey to wellness. We are located downtown Dayton near the I-75 and I-35 junction, to the west of the Great Miami River.
