Everyone has been wonderful. All the staff have treated me with respect and caring. It’s been a good experience if you have to be in a hospital.

Definitely would recommend kindred. There are many caring and nice staff here. Many nurses and aides are kind. The food isn’t the best. The hospital is nice and the rooms are private. more

Everything has been great here! The nurses and nursing assistants are kind. Respiratory department worked with me and I’ve come a long way since I’ve been here. Dr. Rubio is wonderful. It’s been a long road but I’m thankful for this hospital and being off of the ventilator. I most definitely would recommend this hospital and during the month I have been here everyone says how far I have come as far as my health and my family is even impressed with my progress. No place is perfect but I’ve had a good experience here. more

My experience 10/9/2019

This has been the best place for my recovery! The doctors and staff are wonderful. This hospital has been the best place for me and I would recommend this hospital to others! I have zero complaints and they have accommodated my every need or wish. I’ve continued to recover and get better here and can’t thank the staff and doctors enough! more

I’d never heard of kindred and I’ve been in many hospitals. I had a good experience here. Many nurses and aides were very kind to me. This is one of the best hospitals I have been to. Dialysis is here and that is a great service offered within this hospital. It is much better than having to be transported from place to place for dialysis, I have told some of the nurses I wish I could stay here versus having to transfer to a nursing home. I wish the therapy department had a set time or set schedule but everyone was energetic and friendly. I’d definitely recommend kindred to others. more

Kindred Dayton took good care of me and everyone was professional. The rooms are kept clean and they are private. The hospital is nice. Dr. Rubio is direct and a good doctor. No one likes hospital food but this food wasn’t bad. If I needed a service like this again I would choose kindred Dayton. more

Coming from another hospital where my call light was answered so quickly I didn’t think the response time could be better but kindred answers my light very quick. It’s nice here and all staff I’ve encountered have been professional and caring. more

Since my stay at kindred I have had excellent care from the Rn’s, LPN’s, Pct’s and even housekeeping. I really appreciate this. All shifts provided excellent care for me. I’d definitely recommend kindred. Everything was very good here. more

My stay 7/24/2019

Everything has been great! The call light has been answered quickly. The care provided was better than the care I received at Miami valley. I was hesitant to come here but they proved themselves and took great care of me! I would definitely recommend kindred to others. They have someone that checks on you everyday to make sure you’re being well cared for. more

Everyone here has been great. We have no complaints. It’s a small hospital and everyone cares. We would recommend this hospital without a doubt. We wish we didn’t have to transfer to another facility as everyone here has been great. more

This is the best service I’ve ever had in a hospital. I have zero complaints. Dr. Yacoub cracks me up and Allison is very nice. The wound nurses are happy my wound is getting smaller and they tell me it looks good. Therapy walks me and works with me. I would recommend this hospital. more

I was pleasantly surprised at the staff being understanding and taking time to listen to me. The wound care team helps me feel more comfortable about having my wound care done. This has been a better experience than I had imagined. more

All the nurses were wonderful. Brandy is a great PCT, she is “on it”. I just lover her! Jennifer popping in everyday smiling lifted my spirits. The doctors were great. This was a good experience. more

The nurses have been wonderful! They are hard workers and they’ve been great. My call light is answered quickly. The food is hospital food and I understand that. My room is cleaned daily. My bed and chair are comfortable compared to other hospitals I’ve been to. more

Great hospital 4/8/2019

When my husband was needing an LTAC and I was provided information about Kindred and after meeting with Kelli I knew this was the hospital to come to. I now believe my husband will return home. The nursing staff and physicians are efficient, knowegable and kind. I am so pleased with his progress while here. The weekly meetings are wonderful. For someone that is hands on in the recovery of their loved one this meetings are quite informative. Martin and his jokes made me smile. Doug with therapy is patient but has worked with me and makes me feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hospital. more

  • Our hospital does not offer emergency services. Kindred Hospital Dayton and Behavioral Health Unit is a 97-bed hospital. With 51 long-term acute care hospital beds, we offer the same in-depth care you would receive in a traditional hospital, but for an extended recovery period. Our 46-bed behavioral health unit offers treatment for adults ages 18+, including dedicated services for geriatric patients. The unit offers 24-hour supervised psychiatric treatment and crisis support for mental health issues and like the LTACH, we partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week so you can start your journey to wellness. We are located downtown Dayton near the I-75 and I-35 junction, to the west of the Great Miami River.
