When our upstairs air conditioner went out on a Saturday evening, I called the company that had installed our units and had done all the maintenance over the years. I left an urgent message and 2 days later I still haven't received a callback. On Sunday, we called Keefe's. I had seen their advertising but had never used them. Within a couple of hours, a technician was here and diagnosed our system was dead and would need a replacement. We also had a severe rust problem in our furnace. Sunday afternoon we had the sales person here to go over our options. I believe his name was Eldon or Elton. We elected to replace the air conditioner and furnace. It was expensive. Then later on Sunday another gentleman arrived and measured various parts of the house and took pictures so he could review in the morning with the installers. As promised between 8:30 and 9 am, Brad Lopez and Carlos Ramos arrived. Having them show up on time was already a good start to this process. They took the necessary steps to protect our stairs. They were working on the third floor and I had to work on the second floor. They did their jobs and the noise was at a minimal level and did not prevent me from working. It was an all day job but it was done in a most professional manner. Hard to believe that we went from no functioning air conditioner on Saturday evening to a new unit that was working by Monday late afternoon. I was so impressed with the speed and attention to detail of all the people involved. My only minor complaint is that our new thermostat thinks it is December 31, 2014 and we couldn't figure out how to get the correct date and time inserted. I have already given a friend of ours who needs an air conditioning company the name of Keefe's. My only regret is that I had not started using them 20 years ago.
