Incredible Experience! 11/9/2011

Erin has been the stylist for my husband & I for quite some time; she just moved to the Karen Allen Salon and all I can say is that I wish our hair would grow faster so that we can repeat the Karen Allen Salon experience more often. I have never had such a wonderful time while getting my hair cut and styled. Great choice in new homes Erin! more

Brooke is the best hairstylist I have ever had. She always knows exactly what I want and I always leave her looking fabulous. Her massages are wonderfully relaxing...I always fall asleep :) I recommend her with 5 stars!!! more

I absolutely love Maria, she is the best! I can always count on her for my hair needs. I walked in with an idea for my hair and she exceeded my expectations (as usual). She knows her hair color product, and knows exactly what to do! GO TO MARIA SHE IS THE BEST!!!! more

Love the extra attention you get! The scalp massage before a hair cut is amazing! Extra relaxing shampoo! I tried a new stylist and was very impressed! Glad that if I don't go to the same stylist I still get a great experience! I will definitely return! more

I had been searching for a good salon and stylist for a while and finally dound this one, I love it. It has such a relaxing vibe and they take such great care of you, my favorite is the mini massage while my color sets, so wonderful!! more

Eryn is amazing! Not only is she one of the sweetest people on the face of the erth but she is sooooo talented! My color, cut and styling that she did is perfection! I can duplicate the style at home without any problems. She should be made a master stylist - she is totally worth it. more

Best Salon in Riverside 10/20/2011

I've been going to Karen Allen for almost nine years now. It is the best place for color, cut, and massage in town. The customer care is excellent. You feel like you are at a very high end spa, but the prices are quite resonable for what you get. I recommend it to everyone who compliments my hair. more

Great experience 10/18/2011

Was able to book an appointment at the last minute on a Saturday evening for a much needed haircut. Ariel gave me a better cut than I had anticipated and made sure to listen to all of my requests and give me more than I had asked for. Will definitely go back. more

Kijani Ball continues to please as a hair stylist and a professional. She certainly knows her color, especially her reds. Her cuts are also great. She even manages to achieve my desire look despite my cowlicks. In addition, her fun personality and her ability to set you at ease are an asset to her profession. After 10 years, I still highly recommencd her. more

Maria is the best ever! I already am committed to Karen Allen because I feel so pampered each time I go - especially right now since I am pregnant and Aveda is the only product I trust (99% plant derived). Naturally everyone does a great job, but Maria goes so far above and beyond! She is lovely and the best hairstylist - she helps you decide what style you want and cuts it so perfectly that it feels like a brand-new haircut for weeks. She is a color genius and takes such care to make it a relaxing, incredible experience. Yes it costs a bit more because she is a Master Stylist, but she is well worth the extra. Even heading into maternity leave I knew she was worth the splurge! more

I can appreciate how some guys enjoy all the extras you provide. As a matter of fact, I enjoy most of them myself. However, when the session begins to go more than 1 hour, those extras become a bit tedious. more

First of all, I've always loved coming to this salon & spa! I started going to this salon over a year ago when they were at their former location a couple miles from the Riverside Plaza where they currently are located. I've had multiple massage sessions, a facial treatment, pedicure, and haircuts. I have always received great service by the amazing stylists and spa specialists that work here! My stylist, Brianna (or Bri), is wonderful and very friendly! She gives me great tips on styling my hair, recommends Aveda products whenever I inquire about them, and is overall just an amazing person! I know that sounds like a typical "thing" that stylists do, but she goes above and beyond to make sure I am happy, and has fun doing her job. I am very thankful to have her as my stylist, and have a great salon to relax in whenever I come. I highly recommend Bri as a hair stylist, and this Aveda location for any salon and spa service! more

haircut 10/3/2011

I came in for a "trim and shaped" I came out with as short a haircut as I have ever had. I had tears in my eyes when I left. I had used this salon before; different stylist. The cut is even just to short!!! more
