Accommodating and Efficient Movers 4/15/2012

I needed to move my stuff over the course of a weekend. My friend who had used Jordan Moving before suggested I give them a call and it was the best decision i made. Sean, their main guy, was amazing. they were able to send out a truck last minute. (i realized i needed to move Friday day, and they were able to send out a truck and 2 movers Saturday morning!\r Within 3 hours we were able to move everything out of my in-law room. \r These guys know their business and efficiency is what they do well. The next time i need to make another move, I'll definitely be calling up Sean!\r more

Attention to detail and care 4/15/2012

From the first phone call (3 wks before the date) right up to the morning of the move, the team from Jordan River Moving and Storage were nicel. 2 guys who showed up right on time before the morning of my move and were ready to get started. One of the guys went through the paperwork with me very thoroughly to make sure I knew exactly how much the whole process would cost and what i was paying for. I like that -- step by step details really helped to put me at ease. The guys were quick, grabbing boxes and wrapping dressers to make sure the drawers didn't slide out and wrapping up my bed. Attention to detail and care with my belongings definitely won them points. more

No concern at all 4/8/2012

My fiancé and I moved into a bigger apartment . We used services of Jordan River Moving and Storage again and they did not disappoint us. Not only were they quick but also efficient and listened to our every concern. They moved us in our two bedroom house and storage unit from our old apartment into our new apartment just a few blocks away in 2 hours flat time .I will say that the entire crew seemed more experienced than the first move which we had used sometime back. My only concern was that due to some reason they did not accept payment thru card on that day and I had to arrange for a cashier’s cheque from my bank which caused some inconvenience otherwise their service was not bad and hopefully I won't be moving again for long time, but if I do I shall still hire them. more

Sean and Stephan from Jordan River Moving exceeded all our expectations for a super fair price! Seriously, these guys were quick and strong, and just the way I like it- sorry, a move for me is like ripping of a huge bandaid- you gotta do it fast, and sure some skin might come off, but get it over it!!!\r \r all that said- they were on time, nothing broke, nothing scratched, we all got our sweat on and had the move done in time for lunch beers\r \r Ahoy! more

Great Job Guys 3/29/2012

These guys were great, very satisfied and would use them again. Showed up exactly on time, and started moving boxes the moment they walked in the door. They asked me about wrapping my furniture and I chose to have some things wrapped in blankets and some things not, helping me save a little time and money. What they did wrap they wrapped expertly and very quickly. Everything was out so fast it caught me by surprise. Moving into the new place was just the same, while I unpacked a few boxes in the kitchen they managed to move in and unwrap my bed, dresser, desk, computer, lamps, etc. etc. all in record time. The two movers I had were intelligent, polite, careful with my stuff, and clearly very experienced in the art of moving things safely and fast. The cost was exactly as expected, moving supplies came out to about $34 for a large studio worth of stuff. \r No complaints whatsoever\r more

Awesome Guys 3/28/2012

These guys are awesome!! They were fast, efficient and made the whole move way less stressful than moving already is. They moved my studio apartment one flight on each end. It took about three hours and was $300 (there's a 5% discount for paying in cash). I highly recommend them! more

super professional and VERY fast 3/27/2012

I had never hired movers before, and had about 50 panic attacks while trying to choose a company! I'm happy to say that I made the perfect choice by picking Jordan River Moving. They were right on time, super professional, and VERY fast. I did not have a tonne of stuff to move, but they finished in half the time I expected. Excellent rates, and funny nice guys- I cannot recommend them high enough!! more

SCAM ALERT - BUYER BEWARE 3/24/2012

SCAM ALERT!!!! I selected the services of Jordan River Movers for my relocation from Seattle, WA to Naples, FL. My belonging were picked up on 2/28 and promised to be on a truck for Florida on 3/2. Today is 3/24 and my belongings are still ""in transit"". Repeated calls go unanswered or, on the occasional response, I get nothing but excuses. I JUST WANT MY FURNITURE! This outfit is nothing but a SCAM more

Trustworthy and reliable people 3/11/2012

Jordan River Moving and Storage helped us move this past Monday. I must say this company is comparatively better than other moving companies in the area. Several things were scratched by a moving company which I would not like to name but with Jordan the move was just fine. They quickly wrapped all the valuables in padding and unwrapped them upon arrival. Also, the attitude of these movers was superb. They took a heavy sewing machine table up three flights of stairs only to learn that they required to take it back downstairs and did so without any complaint. Great guys and above all great work I recommend them for their efficiency and experience. Thanks Jordan. more

Very good movers 2/29/2012

I used Jordan River Moving and storage about a month ago to move all my stuff from my large studio apartment, in a high rise building to another high rise. They were punctual, respectful and efficient. They moved the entire apartment (including packing clothes and other things) in about 3 hours, which was less than they had quoted and the whole thing cost me under $500. \r \r I was skeptical at first, but after seeing good reviews about them, I decided to give them a try. I thought that they were great and I'd definitely use them again for another move and would recommend them to friends.\r more

No inconvenience at all 2/29/2012

We called Jordan River Moving and Storage to help us move our furniture over to our new place. Three movers arrived on the day of the move and we got to our old place on time and they got to work. They worked hard and they were hilarious. They took good care of our items and had no problem getting our stuff down through the narrow and dark spiral stairs. They were done much earlier than we had planned, saving us money and time. My only concern was that due to some reason they did not accept payment thru card on that day and I had to arrange for a cashier?s cheque from my bank which caused some inconvenience and waste of our time otherwise they were good with their moving job. more

Super careful, great service 2/28/2012

Simply fantastic -- I have moved 5 times w/ professional movers and never liked anyone before Jordan River Moving. Sean knew I needed a neighborhood permit (other moving companies never figured that out), arranged for it w/ the local PD, sent out 3 awesome guys to move my stuff, and when I unpacked *nothing*, literally *nothing* was broken. Oh, they didn't scratch ANY of my walls either -- not in my old place or my new place. Super careful, great service, I'd use them again in a heartbeat. more

Cause Significant Property Damange 2/25/2012

Caused a significant amount of damage to our furniture. My experience with Jordan River was incredibly upsetting. We moved from Connecticut to Washington and when we had our furniture delivered to us, we were shocked to find that our flat-screen TV was smashed, our coffee table was completely scratched (the movers had never wrapped it), the wooden frame of our couch was destroyed, as well as one of our floor lamps. The men that moved our furniture in also noted that they were shocked a granite coffee table top hadn't broken as it hadn't been wrapped properly. To make matters worse, their third-party claim service has continually lied to us. We've received documentation late (if at all) and when we finally received the offer of settlement back from the claims processing service, the letter included a number of statements that simply weren't true. We had a truly distressing experience with this mover and I would caution anyone from using their services. more

Courteous Movers !!! 2/14/2012

The guys from Jordan River Moving and Storage were friendly and accomodating in the office. They showed up on time and did a fantastic job maneuvering large pieces of furniture through narrow doorways and tight corners. The job went quickly and without any damage. I don't plan on moving again in the near future but will highly recommend them to all my friends. Thanks! I hired this company at the very last minute and they were very accommodating, fast, efficient, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. Three guys showed up early on a Sunday morning and moved our 2 bedroom apartment in just under 3 hours - very much worth the money. I will hire them again next time I move. more

Best guys 1/29/2012

We recently took the Jordan River Moving to move our big 3 bedroom house (including a piano). They were punctual, professional, and a pleasure to work with. This had been our 5th (!) move in the Kirkland in the last 10 years, and the Jordan River Moving guys were the best we ever encountered. We will move them in any future move we will need. more

Efficient and Professional Guys 1/22/2012

Jordan River Moving did an amazingly efficient and professional (not to mention cost-effective) job of moving me from a house to a studio downtown. They arrived on time, and moved me in to my new place within only a couple of hours. They even helped to make it easier for me to unpack and stay organized. Caring Movers 1/21/2012

These guys were fantastic! We had such an easy move with them. Professional, cheery, funny and efficient. I got an estimate the same day I called and it was accurate. They packed us up the day before and came the next morning to move us. Everything was very smooth. The most wonderful thing was that they moved our toddler's room first thing in the morning, making a special trip to the new house just to do this, so that he could still have his nap on moving day in his own crib!! As a mom, you know how golden that is. A rested baby on moving day is priceless. Thanks to these guys. HIGHLY recommended!! more
