I convinced my husband (a true do-it-yourself man) to hire Jordan River Moving to move some of our bigger pieces so we didn't break our backs. They came early (yes, isn't that amazing??), and hauled stuff at break neck speed to the truck. The furniture was wrapped and they were really careful with the walls. We then proceeded to drive to the new house where they put everything away neatly and quickly where I wanted it. (Some of the pieces were really big and had to go upstairs, so they really worked hard!) The only drawback was that their GPS didn't have the new house address right, so they were lost for about 30 min. The detour was unfortunate, but I didn't fault them for it since the house is new, and it only makes sense that it didn't map right on the GPS. All in all, I would definitely hire them again. more

When I mentioned to a friend that I was moving and I was done with asking for my friends' help he happily supplied me with the name of his last moving company. He talked Jordan River Moving up so much I didn't bother to shop around. Fair rates, on time and efficient, friendly and pleasant were all used to describe his experience. I called them first thing Monday morning and scheduled my move 6 weeks in advance. more

i have now used Jordan River a few times and always will turn to them. They were so flexible in adjusting my move dates. Sheena was fabulous to work with. The guys on the day of the move were very efficient. i had to make them take a break to eat lunch as they wanted to keep working. I would suggest them to anyone who needs a local move for sure. My sis in law has used as well. more

Used them recently for a short local move, and everything went well. Setting up the move was easy, I requested morning, but you don't get an actual time slot until the day before. I understanding scheduling can be a bit tricky, but I really do wish could come up with a more definitive timeslot before that. The movers themselves were professional and quick. They wrapped all the furniture and nothing get damaged or dinged in the move. I did find some empty tape rolls in the old house, but otherwise, no issues there. Pricing was reasonable overall, with the hard work the movers put in I think they ended up coming a bit under the time estimates as well. I'll certainly look at Jordan River for any future moves. more

I would like to thank Jordan River Van Lines for really ""saving our bacon."" Yesterday my daughter, Sofia Goff, was facing a midnight deadline to move from her rented duplex, and friends with trucks were suddenly unable to help. Desperate, we were lucky enough to call Jordan River about noon and get a crew to help us by about 2:30 p.m. And what a crew it was - Oscar, Fernando and Enrique were hard-working, pleasant and professional. We quickly realized we were in the best hands possible. It took them only 3.5 hours to load up all the heavy furniture and other items, transport them to storage and somehow fit everything into our 10x10 unit. When we saw all the items in their truck, we didn't think they had a chance of getting everything into that 100 square feet. Surely, only true moving professionals could have. In that same time frame, they also brought a number of items successfully to my daughter's new location. We sincerely hope you'll pass on these comments to the managers of this great crew. After this experience, we'd recommend Jordan River to anyone who's ""on the move."" more

I can not speak highly enough regarding my family\'s moving experience with Jordan. Kevin who visited our home prior to the move was extremely courteous and helpful. Dan was very flexible in changing our move date at the last minute when we realized that we weren't ready. The moving team was excellent. They worked hard and were really efficient. The team was polite and we felt we could trust them with all our stuff. As far as I can tell (so far) nothing was lost, damaged or broken. The best part was that the cost of the move came in under the original quote. I would strongly recommend Jordan. more

In fact two of the movers were the same ones that moved me out of my house into storage and then out of storage into condo. They remembered me and I remembered them which made it very comfortable. A+ A+ A+. The 3 young men who moved me were ANGELS. I had a horrible cold virus so felt like death. They did EVERYTHING with speed and caring attitudes. They wrapped furniture carefully and helped pack my odds and ends. There aren't enough positive words to describe these young men: 100% professional, outstanding service, kind, strong as oxen, FAST, protective of my stuff and of walls/ floors in new place. They turned a stressful, grueling, anxious move into a wonderful blessing. more

We have moved across the country many times, but this company was the only one with employees who went to the trouble to carefully wrap every piece of our furniture in blankets and plastic wrap. And Tom at the office was incredible in accommodating us with a personalized contract for our needs. We were happily surprised to also see the company honor the contract at the end of our move. None of our items were broken or damaged, but I must add that I have learned a lot about packing properly. Don't ever be surprised if items in your boxes get damaged on a long move if you haven't gone to the trouble to pad and restrict movement. None of these guys are magicians after all. We did have a trailer to move our items onto, and up to the house. Most driveways cannot be traversed with a large moving truck. It is not uncommon for an extra charge to be required for the need of a smaller truck. If you can help with your own truck or trailer, it will enable you to avoid that potentially additional cost. We will recommend Jordan to all of our WA friends and family. Thanks guys! more
