I'm sure there are worse movers. Our furniture did arrive, mostly in one piece. And, they are very responsive BEFORE the furniture is moved.
Once the furniture was loaded, things changed. First, they said that usually the furniture arrived within 7 to 10 days, although the contract allows them 20 days. They took all 20 days. In addition, once the furniture was close by, they did not let us know when someone was coming and we had to keep calling them. Then the day they told us someone would come, they didn't and the movers didn't call. So, we were stuck camping in our house with no furniture for many more days than we expected.
The people unloading the furniture are not the same ones as those loading it, so it had to get loaded and unloaded at least twice. Several pieces of furniture of wither scratched or broken...
We did not get insurance. Instead we opted for the .60 a pound that comes with the move. BUT, try collecting. They use a ""private"" insurance adjustor. These people want so much detail that it makes it difficult to file an order. Then, when we did file, they asked for more detail. I think there system is to make things so frustrating and difficult that you just give up on your claim.
Overall, the furniture did arrive, mostly OK and the movers were great guys. The company, on the other hand, had very poor communication, didn't follow through, and uses a very difficult claims process. I suppose there are probably worse movers. At least all the furniture got there eventually.
