I have always had great experiences at John Roberts! No matter what service, it has always met my expectations and more. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. I always feel pampered when I'm there. Although I live I Canton,it's well worth the drive!! more

The place was nice. The experience was fine. My stylist hands smelled like cigarettes which is off putting but they did a fine job on my hair. Also,everyone was very friendly and excited about their salon and the services it offers. I think I will probably not be back anytime soon mainly because of location. more

Worst massage 1/7/2012

I have had many stone massages in the past. I prefer those over standard massages because they really work the kinks out of my body. Before massage, the massage therapist asked if I had any problem area. I told her my hamstrings and calves were tight due to a long road trip to florida and back to Ohio. During the massage she spent a long time on calves but hardly anything else. The highest she would go on my leg was the knee. She did not touch the front or back of my thigh. she spent a few minutes on my back. She didn't touch my neck. And when she did my arm she barely touched that. She didnt even touch my elbow or hands. I got a better arm massage during my facial. I know this was not a one time technique flaw in my massage therapist. because she told me that she saw me 1 year prior to this last appointment. once she started i remembered she was the same person i had before and got the same style massage. more

Friendly Environment 1/3/2012

I have been a John Roberts customer for a year now and every time I visit the Mayfield Heights location it is extremely pleasant! The reception staff is always smiling and Denise who provides my service is ALWAYS a joy! I recommend the salon as often as possible. Thanks for providing an environment that makes a not so pleasant service (waxing) joyful! Happy New Year! more

Mediocore microdermabrasion 1/1/2012

The microdermabrasion I had was mediocre. I did face only and it lasted only 15 minutes, yet the service is more expensive than an outer peace facial (what I usually get at the salon). My skin doesn't feel or look my different, so I can't say I'm impressed with the results either. For those new to microdermabrasion: the process includes the aesthetician cleaning your face (with an alcohol astringent) and then performing the crystallized microdermabrasion. Upon completion of the microdermabrasion portion, the aesthetician will brush the crystals off your face and clean your face one more time. For me this took only 15 minutes. more

Best color and cut yet!! 12/26/2011

Crystal has been cutting/coloring/styling my hair for a few years. She is very talented and really makes great suggestions when warranted. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Super busy day at the salon, but she did a nice job fitting all of my services in without running behind with her other customers. more
