I have had many stone massages in the past. I prefer those over standard massages because they really work the kinks out of my body. Before massage, the massage therapist asked if I had any problem area. I told her my hamstrings and calves were tight due to a long road trip to florida and back to Ohio. During the massage she spent a long time on calves but hardly anything else. The highest she would go on my leg was the knee. She did not touch the front or back of my thigh. she spent a few minutes on my back. She didn't touch my neck. And when she did my arm she barely touched that. She didnt even touch my elbow or hands. I got a better arm massage during my facial. I know this was not a one time technique flaw in my massage therapist. because she told me that she saw me 1 year prior to this last appointment. once she started i remembered she was the same person i had before and got the same style massage.
