Air Conditioner Serviced There....Very Dishonest!!!! :( 7/19/2011

Don't ever take your vehicle to Joe Cooper Ford in Yukon to get serviced. I took my '92 Ford Escort there to get the air conditioner serviced 8 days ago. They charged me $200.76 cents. It worked fine for a week & then it went from cold to cool/warm. At the time of the service (8 days ago) they told me they checked for leaks and there was none and I was good to go. I took it back today to have them look at it. Jody Meyers said that it may take awhile, so I got a ride home. She calls me & tells me....""Well it looks like the compressor is bad""....& it will cost me an additional $635.43. I was floored to say the least. I told them I'm not going to get it fixed & that I will pick the car up. Funny how they couldn't tell me the compressor was bad when they serviced it from the beginning & charged me the 200.76. So I go to pick it up & wanted to speak to the manager ""Rick"". He says....""let's work this out so you'll be happy....how 'bout we get you discounts"".....so the price goes from $635.43....to $492.60. Remember I already spent $200.76. I took the discount that was wrote down by them....& told them I will see them in court...which I will. Also, to make things worse....it was blowing cool/warm air before I took it up there today....now it's blowing all hot air.....just like they were. I guess what little was left in it leaked out when they checked it out for the second time. Don't ever take your vehicle there like I did. You will not be happy to say the least. more

Bait and Switch//Very Dishonest 11/28/2010

Recently I spoke w/ salesman ""Isaac"" from Joe Cooper Ford in Yukon OK. I told him that I was interested in an advertised auto of theirs. I let him know that I would like to see if they would be willing to sell me this car for 30K ""Out the Door"" & I told him including all taxes, fees... I also let him know that I would be driving from CO. He said that he wanted to check with his mgr. He called back about in 5 min., & said they could do the deal. I reiterated ""Out the door right taxes, fees, everything right? He then said: ?yes taxes, fees, everything out the door?. I then told him that I would be there tomorrow. I drove 9 hrs. to Yukon OK. The next day I arrived & asked for Isaac, waited 40 min. He then showed up & asked for my drivers license to do a test drive. He then told me a rte. to take for a test drive & walked away. I then sat in the car for 5 min. & tried to put the car in gear, the car would not go into gear. Another salesman passed by, & I asked him if he could help. He sat in the car and he couldn't figure it out either. The salesman said that he would go and find Isaac. 10 min. later, I decided to ask another salesman for help, this salesman tried w/o success, he then shut the car off, then restarted it, finally it freed up. It would have been nice had Isaac shown us around the car before he walked off. We then went for a spin & returned. Waiting another 45 min. until Isaac was done with another customer, he asked me if I would like to fill out an app., for a better interest rate then I had. Originally I said no, then being pressured, I figured I've got nothing to lose. Isaac then returned 30 min. later not saying anything about a better rate, just started the purchase paperwork. He first had me sign a disclosure of ""No Warranty"" from the dealership. Isaac then handed me the itemized sales sheet to sign. Immediately I noticed that there was no sales tax listed! To get the price to 30K from the advertised price of 29.6K, the dealership had added $150 for the already included alarm system & $150 for dealership fees. They were trying to squeeze every red cent out of my pre-approved loan, while forgetting to include most importantly the sales tax in the 30K like we had originally agreed to. Why not, I guess they had a chump drive 530 mi. from CO, he wouldn't drive all this way and go back empty handed, right? The old bait and switch. Obviously honesty & integrity don't mean much at Joe Cooper Ford of Yukon, OK. I couldn't believe I was getting burned. I then asked Isaac what happened to our agreement? Isaac then stated: ""What agreement?"" Once he said that, I just felt warm all over, just saddened by how rotten people can be just to make an extra buck off of you. I then realized, they had never planned on giving me the deal that we had agreed to, they would ask me to fill out another application to see if they could stretch out the price higher, why not he's already approved for 30K, right? Once they figured out that my pre-approved 30K check was the max. for me, they figured just don't add the sales tax in the deal. We won't put that in the deal and he'll figure out that he'll have to pay another 2K+ once he gets back to CO. I know for damn sure without a doubt no question that we agreed to ""Out the Door, all taxes and all fees"". I would not have driven a quarter of the way across the country without an agreement. I admit that I was extremely ignorant taking their word for truth. Shame on me. Upon leaving, Adam in finance asked me; ""Where did we go wrong?"" I told him when you guys lied to me about the deal. Adam wanted to take an argumentative stance on the matter, and Isaac nor Adam were willing to negotiate our original agreement. I didn't want to waste time and argue about the inevitable, so I just told the two of them to have a Happy Thanksgiving and I walked out. It turned out to be a big waste of time, due to the greed and deception of Joe Cooper Ford in Yukon, OK. more

DISHONEST, SNEAKY, RUDE, WORST EVER TO DEAL WITH 5/17/2010

Very bad dealer to work with, they lied about insurance coverage and ended up costing me an extra $5600.00 and tried to hide it in the paperwork. I told them I didnt need Life or disablity insurance and he said ok, sign here stating you dont want it. But what I did was sign the paper accepting it. Thats some sneaky BS right there. I should have read what I was signing. When I called them with my concern they were very rude and told me there was nothing i could do about it. They told me it was my word against theirs........ I am 40 years old and this is/was the worst experience in ANY bussiness transaction i've ever done. Pros: Goose Egg Cons: are what they are more

Trouble 9/27/2009

BUYERS BEWARE: yeah they offer good deals on cars we all want and they will make it seem so easy while they are kissing up trying to get you to purchase through them. But sign that paperwork and your troubles have just begun! They won't even wash your car for you to pick up, call to ask you how you're enjoying your new car, and they won't even do the paperwork right. Once they realize they've done something wrong, they'll call and make it your problem. Their once seemingly nice, honest team ends up being horrible to customers who already have the car and no other reason to purchase, so why should they care what you think after you've already forked over your money? Their dishonesty only shows through after you've bought. Yeah, it seems easy with them because the deal is too good to be true. You'll breeze through financing only to come to roadblocks a month after you've taken your car home. Use your brains here- they make it seem so easy so you'll buy the car and then be trapped when you've already signed your soul over to them and they change rules so you don't have any say. Your signature is already on the paperwork and THAT'S when their true colors come shining through. Pros: what pros? Cons: everything more

Horrible Dealership 9/27/2009

We attempted to make the extra key for the new car we bought after they BULLIED us into it by calling us at work, home, etc. to threaten to repo the car if we did not present them a copy of the key (which doesn't even belong to them, it belongs to the creditors). When I arrived on their lot to tell them about the key, they MAGICALLY FOUND one! Wonders never cease... I am in the US Air Force and would not attempt to wrong a dealership or it would be my head on the chopping block in my career! They called me and screamed at me when I was following our creditors' instructions on obtaining the title for trade in, doing whatever I could because we were having a bit of a setback on the title. I called Joe Cooper of Yukon to inform them of our process for obtaining the title and they called me back, screaming at me, ""I don't CARE what the creditor says!"" The creditor is contracted through them - if they don't agree with the creditors' course of action (even though the creditor is the only one in charge of your deal once the new car is in your possession and you're paying them) they shouldn't use this creditor. For the record, the credit people have been very helpful, understanding, and intelligent in working with our case as opposed to Joe Cooper whose employees have been nothing but dishonest, rude, and illegal in their contract with us. We tend to follow our creditors' instructions for this reason, but Joe Cooper would have none of that even though we were doing NOTHING wrong! Joe Cooper wants to back you into a corner so you can give them what they want (which is illegal - we've consulted legal advice) so they'll say whatever it takes to scare you into buying in to what they say. The creditors DO know about this dealership and will be looking into helping us take legal action. I'm sure they don't appreciate that their contractors told us, and I quote, ""I don't care what the creditors told you!"" Pros: n/a Cons: absolutely NOTHING right about this dealership more

This Place Needs to be Shut Down Immediately 9/27/2009

These folks will NOT give you 30 days to get all stuff completed after you leave the lot in your new car. They will call you on EVERY phone you have, threatening and harassing you until they've bullied you in to doing what THEY want - nevermind that what they're doing is ILLEGAL and shady! They'll have you sign BLANK paperwork and will only treat you with ""respect"" when other customers are flooding their sales floor. When office doors are closed, they will call you and scream at you! Everything you do for them will be under diress and they will not even call you out of courtesy to see if you're enjoying your new vehicle. They will take every penny out of your pocket by conveniently changing rules you don't have a say over because they do this AFTER you've signed blank paperwork! I am seeking legal action against this dealership that acts more like an inside m-fia than a caring, honest dealership. They treat NO customer with respect! Search up reviews on any one of JC's locations and they will speak for themselves. BEWARE: you are buying from shady people here who will do whatever it takes to distress you until you fold to THEIR wants, most of which are highly illegal and scary! They will bully you and back you in to a corner so you can sign their illegal paperwork while none of them sign anything in front of you so you won't know your rights. These people are scary folks who will be forced to pay for years of taking advantage of normal customers who walked in under the assumption of a good deal but once paperwork is signed they will make your life a living h-ll. They take advantage because they assume no one wants to bother with or pay attorneys. They messed with the wrong purchasers this year. Cons: lying managers, careless cust service, threats, harassment more

Shady Dealership 9/23/2009

I drove 3 hrs up to their lot in the car I was trading for the new vehicle. The sales team led me to believe I was going to be driving the new vehicle home that evening. I'd had 99% of the paperwork done before so all I needed to do was present the check for down payment. I did everything they asked & once I handed over the check, they informed me I was to come back the next day because they'd not even put the car I was purchasing in the shop to be prepared for cleaning & placement of a satellite for their GPS system to track down the car any place, any time. Judging by how the car's interior/exterior looked when I went the next day to pick up the car, I'd like to know what their definition of ""UNCLEAN"" is! NOTHING was washed, polished, vacuumed! I did purchase the car ""as-is"" so legally they don't have to take a rag to the vehicle at all, but it seems they are none too concerned w/ a customer's complete satisfaction. They do the bare minimum & once your paperwork is signed, you're as good as dirt to them. Pros: Nice cars Cons: Scare tactics, dishonesty, poor communication, unprofessional more

Horrible Customer Service 3/17/2009

My wife and I recently purchased a vehicle from Joe Cooper Ford in Yukon. As far as the vehicle goes I am very happy. It is just what I was looking for, however, after the dotted line was signed the sales manager and general manager at the dealership forgot I even existed. They refused to help in any way. I was not told before purchasing the vehicle that it only came with 1 set of keys. After the deal was done they said I could purchase another set of keys for over $100. Now that may not seem like much to most, but to me it was. Its not much money but the fact that I just spent a great deal of money on this purchase and only received 1 set of keys was just upsetting. It seems like the old motto, ""the customer is always right"" does not matter to these people. All they kept saying after I asked them to provide another set of keys was, ""If I did it for you I would have to do it for everyone else."" It seems to me that you should do this for everyone else. I really like my new vehicle, but I will NEVER go back to this dealership that does not respect its customers or even cares if that customer is happy with his purchase. Good grief what is $100 to a multi-million dollar dealership. I'll be taking my business somewhere else. Furthermore the salesman made racial slurs against Mexican-Americans in casual conversation as if this was acceptable. Pros: None whatsoever. Cons: Managers are rude, salesman made racial slurs. more

Rude Salesman and Poor Management 3/2/2009

After getting several calls from the same salesman and asking him to stop calling, Jeff the salesman told my husband that I shouldn't have gave him my phone number if I didn't want him harrassing me. I called and reported this to the sales manager, and he didn't even apologize. Pros: no pros Cons: terrible customer service more
