Thanks for another great job and worry free experience, Jewell Auto. I appreciate the high integrity with which you run your business. It is wonderful to know that I will get honest answers from an expert staff at a fair price. I particularly appreciate the extra time you take to explain any problems you find and what you will do to fix them. After bringing my cars to you multiple times, I know that I do not have to worry about being swindled into services I don't need. Jewell Auto was excellent in taking care of my car. I liked the whole experience so much, I've recommended them to my mom and my cousin! I especially like how they took time to explain things to me. They are so fast, my car was ready for me on the same day I took it in. They are honest and did a good job because I've had no problems since. I'll definitely be going back. more

Great Team, Bad Repairs 6/20/2011

Jewell Auto has a fantastic team in the front office. They are very kind and helpful. However, I have had my truck in there a few times this year. First, my truck was missing and I was charged somewhere around $1000 for miscellaneous repairs.(It still misses) Then, I wanted my transmission fluid and filter changed. I was told it had a seal going bad. I had never noticed any leaks but I said replace it. That was also ballpark $1000. A couple weeks later I noticed a leak around the pan and the tail end of the transmission. Took it back, they said they fixed the problem at no charge. A few weeks go by, I notice the same thing. I take it back in and was told that I needed an o-ring. After I get it back it was still leaking. So I was forced to take it to a transmission shop and explained the problem. They said there is not an o-ring in the tail shaft of the transmission. I really think Mike and the crew are great people but not sure that I will be going back. more

Jewel is the best 6/1/2011

I've been using Jewel Auto for at least seven or more years. As a mechanically-challenged person, I've always been at the mercy of the guys at the dealership or shop who tell me I need this or that done and, when the car still wasn't right, I'd have to take it back again. I trust Jewel because I never feel like they are looking for things to tack onto the regular service checks and whenever they do have to fix something, I never have to take it back and spend more money to fix the same problem all over again. Great mechanics with great integrity! more

Not fast 4/30/2011

The service was very courteous and friendly. The work was thorough and complete. My only complaint regards how long it took to get my truck back. It took about three. I understand that it is a smaller operation, but three days is a long time to go without a vehicle. Apart from that, I am fully satisfied. more

They're so good! 4/19/2011

I recommend Jewell Auto all the time. They're so good! When you call them up and give them your problem, they take the time to listen. They'll give you a quote about more or less what it will cost, and they're very good about sticking to the estimated time. What I also like is when you call them up to see if they are finished yet they don't get bothered. I've never seen them in a bad mood, and if you're down, they bring you back up. In general, they are very courteous, and prompt too. At the end when you pay them they give you a piece of candy! I like their candy! more

Awesome Customer Service!! 4/5/2011

Got towed to Jewell Auto repair - chose it because it was AAA Approved. Arrived just before closing time. The owner, Mike, stayed with me for an hour after closing so that I didn't have to wait outside for my ride who was stuck in traffic coming from the airport. Honest about required versus recommended repairs. Quick service. Happy customer! more

Best Shop in Town in many ways 3/31/2011

I have used Jewell Auto for several repairs in the past 2-3 years. What you get is Honesty, Quality Work, and Individual Attention. That's hard to find these days. more
