Good ice cream, lots of choices. A tad pricey, as more families could come if they could afford to get the whole family ice cream. All in all, good experience!

I grew up with Jacksons and it has always been a treat to go and have ice-cream there. I moved out of State and 20 years later came back and had to have some Jacksons ice-cream. ...

Save your money and time 4/3/2012

In short, Jaxson's is a tourist trap. The best part of this place is its atmosphere. People who like this place must mistake quantity for quality. The nicest staff members that you meet will be at the door and ones who seat you. All the products are overpriced. Their biggest claim to fame with kids is the kitchen sink which everyone eats out of. Save your money and buy Breyers at the store and purchase your own sink. Having a large family which likes ice cream, Jaxson's is a huge disappointment . I would not recommend this place to anyone. I wish I could get my time back that I waste on the place. For the price to take a family to eat ice cream at Jaxson's, you could take your wife to a nice dinner at Truluck's. Much better use of money and time.. more

Ok went to place twice in 2 weeks..and here it goes.... #1. Don't come for food. I ranked the food 6.5 out of 10. #2. The staff is all smiles but they are pretty rude. The close time on Friday is 12am. We got there at 11:24 and they told us strictly that they are closed, so we were forced to eat ice cream outside. Water should be free at any place, so I asked a guy if I we can get water and replied "theirs a water fountain in the corner". Are you serious?? #3. Don't go there to celebrate a birthday. They don't do anything beside have a waitetress or waiter bring your ordered ice cream is a sparkler. No signing at all. If you love ice cream, this place is for you ! I rank the ice cream 9.5 out of 10. They have all types of flavors. They also give you a s*it load. So come hungry Food: 6.5 Ice Cream: 9.5 Service: 7 Atmosphere: 8 more

Jaxson's is amazing! The atmosphere is too cute. It's 20's style and there are people working there who have been there forever! The old hosts and waitresses are freakin adorable. They have regular food and of course ice cream. They bring out popcorn to hold you off until your order gets there. The portions are massive so be prepared to share. It is one of the best tourist attractions in the area in my opinion. It gets pretty crowded but the service is still good for how busy they get. Highly recommended. more

This place is crazy with the kinds of sundaes they have. The banana splits are great the peanut butter sauce is to die for and the ice cream is truly delicious. Beware the aging staff and customers. The decor is very nostalgic old west more

Order ice cream at the walkup window and you will be rewarded. Forget about the inside. Food is awful. Just stick to ice cream, and find someone to share it with because it's huge. more

My family and I visited Jaxson's the week before Thanksgiving. A friend recommended the ice cream experience and I must say that it was waaaaay more than I expected. Even though i'm not that big on ice cream, I indeed loved my two HUGE scoops of chocolate ice cream with almonds, hot fudge, whipped cream and a cherry on top. The ice cream is big and the have something called, "The Kitchen Sink" go onlie to check that out!!!!! more

We made the mistake of getting ice cream at the front window one sunny Saturday afternoon. Worst service I have ever had. The guys at this window were convicts right out of central casting. Restaurant doesn't take reservations for lunch or dinner so if you come, be prepared to wait in line for 2 hours. It may be good but really, is it worth all that? more

Jaxson's is known for their desserts. In fact they make all their ice cream in house, which is awesome, and the quality really shines through in each and every bite. All their desserts are HUGE, their portions are extremely generous. The fact that their desserts are huge is also a downside, since you're not allowed to share desserts without a sharing fee. =( However, sharing fee aside, Jaxson's is definitely the place to go for some great ice cream. more

Order ice cream from the out door window and take a look at their candy shop. Grew up going here. Definitely wouldn't eat in the restaurant let alone order food from there. Seems very dingy inside and the servers are questionable looking. However, their ice cream has been consistently awesomely unbeatable for over 20 years. Sad to know Norman the door man died! rip!! more

TROUBLE AT JAXSONS 3/5/2011

The ice cream was fine but the balloon artist accosted us at our car demanding to why we did not give him a tip!...my young daughter felt very threatened; we later complained to the manager Diane. She said he does not work for Jaxson's; he wears their shirt and and performs inside the restaurant!...stay away from there for safety sake. more

Take a friend and split an entree and an ice cream. Jaxson's doesn't skimp on size! The burgers are really good and really big!! And, of course, the whole reason anyone goes to Jaxson's: ICE CREAM!!! So god. So fresh. Seriously though, bring your appetite! more

Very disappointed. Took my 11 year old niece there thinking we'd have a good time, boy was I wrong. After being seated for over 10 minutes without even water put infront of us my mother stopped a waitress to ask about being helped, the woman was so rude to my mom we should have left then. All in all we were there for over 1 1/2 hours on a slow Tuesday night, ridiculous! Food was mediocre at best, service was completely AWFUL, and the prices were OUTRAGEOUS!! Party of 4 (one being 11) for burgers and ice cream was just over $100!!! Definately will NOT be back and would NOT recommend. more
