Great Saloon with Great Staff 8/5/2002

I couldn't resist telling you guys my experince with James Joseph saloon. I live in NY , and one year ago i went to visit my grandmother in Boston. I happen to go to James Joseph saloon for a blowdry and happened to meet the nicest, sweetest hairdresser who not only recomended me a slight cut but also a color that fits me so well. I have worn that color ever since, and have got so many compliments. It is too bad I can't recomend Eva to my friends, they will be as happy as i am. Eversince I visit my grandmother once in three months and she doesn't know my secret but you guys do. more

Great Job 7/7/2002

I had a bad experience at another Newbury Street salon and went to James Joseph because a friend from work told me that Eva does a great job. She took the brass out of my hair and gave me a really cute cut. I have to admit that it was really crowded, but she says that they are moving soon. I recommend her and the salon highly. They saved my hair 6/4/2002

I called them practically in tears about 4 months ago because I did a home color that went terribly wrong. My hair turned orange. I was afraid to go out the door! So I called them because a friend of mine went there and had a beautiful color. The receptionist was really sweet and said a stylist could talk to me that night and fix it the next day. It came out beautifully, and I've been a faithful client ever since. I'm writing this review because I read the other ones and don't agree at all. I think the staff is super friendly and really accommodating. They might get a little familiar for some people, but they seem to really enjoy working with each other. They're definitely not uptight. Pros: talented, friendly, accommodating Cons: crowded, noisy, tough parking more
