I just got my keratin treatment at jadore de hair. Nerik did an amazing job on my hair. I came in with frizzy dry hair and came out with shiny frizz free hair , I highly recommen...

I see that all of the reviews here are outdated. My experience was terrible at this salon and I have not gone back. Giving it one star is generous.

Your Hair is your Crown of Glory !!! 10/16/2011

Ladies !!! Today was my first and last day of a search in finding the perfect salon for Color, Cut and Blow Out!!! My name is Jade and Rafael the colorist did such a phenomenal Job on my color not to mention he had to fix what other (So called Colorists) Had to fix... He is witty and hip and Knows his stuff. !!! Karen was assisting him and washing me out she was very charming and lovely !!! Very Sweet and Accommodating even when need not be. Raffealls brother shaped me and blew dried me very nice as well ... and to boot they are from QUEENS - WHERE I AM FROM so they get it !!!! its all good LADIES !!!!! If you are looking for great color make your appt. now. The pricing is very reasonable and they are not looking to rob you ... and its pretty much easy to get too. You owe it to your hair to get some greatness in your life Thank you for everything today Guys & Girls You Rock!!! Jade xoxox more

Lovely family owned Hair Salon in Glen Head 7/23/2011

After reading all these wonderful reviews I decided to take a chance and so glad I did. When I arrived I was greeted by a lovely staff and was asked if I would like to meet my cutter before getting started with colorist I did and Reuben was wonderful and then discussed with Raphel(colorist) how to proceed. Raphael was pleasant and professional He really cares and is concerned. Karen was lovely and washed out the color and Reuben started the cut and style. I am so happy with the results. It's exactly what I was hoping for. more

Best Color/Highlights of my life 3/3/2010

I went to the salon on this past sunday morning, and i was given LARISSA as a stylist. OMG! i was sooooo happy with her. She was very personable, gave me some different options, and she did a fantastic job! For the past 4-5 years i have been going to the same stylist in Queens, but not anymore! GREAT PLACE FOR A CURLY CUT 11/6/2009

I went to J'adore for color only, after reading the reviews at this site. Raphael colored my hair and talked me inot getting a haircut as well. I hesitated but agreed and boy am I glad I did. Ruben gave me the best curly cut I have ever had. I left looking great and feeling happy. The Salon is clean, very friendly and the guys are absolute artists. Try it you'll love it. I was nervous to get my hair done since I've never really left a place feeling absolutely 100% happy with my hair, until I went to J'adore De Hair. Rapheal did an amazing job on both my cut and color it is exactly what I wanted (and I am very picky!). He is really so talented with the coloring it came out perfect, I couldn't be happier!! Best Kept Secret 10/20/2009

I have been looking for a hair salon in my area (Oyster Bay) for more than a year that provided the same quality, expertise, and professionalism of NYC (where I've been getting my hair done for years). I had my hair cut/blown by Ruben & colored by Raphael. Can I just say, WOW! Best hair cut I've had in two years and after two months, my color is still perfect. Any recommendations they gave me (no pressure to buy) were spot on. Seriously the best kept secret!! BTW, the prices are amazing!! Great hair color in Long Island 9/26/2009

I just had my haircit highlighted at Jadore. It was a great experience but most of all I love my color. I am new to the area and was nervous to get my hair done. Great experience for first time hair color 9/18/2009

I went to Jadore for my first hair coloring experience this week. It was long overdue, but I was always hesitant/fearful of coloring my hair. I explained to Raphael that I wanted a color to match as close as possible to my natural color. I was very pleased with the results. Kudos also to Rueben for the great cut he gave me. Couldn't have been happier with the outcome, or the reasonable prices for that matter. Pros: Really listen to what the customer wants more

My second review... 9/18/2009

This is my second review for Jadore De Hair. I've been going there for about 8 months and for me that is a record. I'm always bouncing around different salons trying to find one that works and this one is it. Raphael took my hair color seamlessly from my summer blonde to a warm caramel color for fall. He knew exactly what I wanted and I was/am thrilled! Ruben cut my hair this time and he was amazing. So skilled and thorough cutting exactly how I asked. He took his time and the result was fantastic! They even stayed well after closing to accomodate me. I can't recommend this place enough. Also, I've gotten the keratin treatment done there by Ruben and it is a lifesaver! I'm going back for my second round in just a few weeks! Pros: everything as usual Cons: not a thing more

Great service and relaxing atmosphere 9/17/2009

I just came from jadore de hair and i must say i was very pleased with the service. when i go to other salons they just always tell me to get my hair washed and then begine the haircut. But with Rafael the stylist who was doing my hair he actually took the time to sit down with me and talk about my hair and went over what i liked and dident like about my hair and what we can do with it. let me tell you that the end result was great. im guessing because Rafael actually listened to me and what i had to say. Pros: Great service and even better haircuts. Cons: none more

The worst haircut experience ever! 9/16/2009

First off, I was the only person in this salon the entire 2 hrs i was there. Second, there was 2 stylists. One to cut and one to color. I asked for a particular color and he took it 5 shades darker. Its horrible. For my cut, i told him EXACTLY what i wanted because i had just got the cut done somewhere else and wanted it replicated. NOPE, NOT EVEN CLOSE. Its uneven, no style, and is just a blob. Now i have to pay more money to go somewhere else and have it fixed since i was CRYING on the way home. I told him atleast 10x i was unhappy with it and it seemed as if they were being annoyed by my unhappiness. Id never ever ever ever go back there. Pros: Nothing Cons: HORRIBLE more

I went to Salon Jadore De Hair because previously the week before my hair was cut terribly and I had to get it fixed. I was nervous to go to another place after my traumautic experience, but after reading reviews on here I was excited. Everyone there is really nice and Rafael did such a wonderful, great, beauitful job on my hair. I really cant say enough great things about the job he did! I totally trusted him with my hair and the outcome was wonderful =] I will definitely keep going back and reccomending to my friends ! Im soo beyond happy I finally found a hair salon and stylist that I love! Pros: friendly, clean, great haircuts + styling Cons: none! more

Amazing! 8/4/2009

I drive all the way from Staten Island with my friends to spend a day at J'adore with Ruben and Rafael. It is worth every minute that it takes to get there. They are always patient if there is traffic and have even stayed late for us. The cut is always amazing... I receive compliments for weeks after. The highlights were exactly what we asked for. I cannot wait to try the conditioning treatment! Pros: very accommodating more

A TRULY WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE 7/22/2009

My daughter had previously had her hair cut and styled by Ruben and he did an absolutely amazing job...She is 16 and is never satisified with the cut she receives...this was her first experience where she was absolutely thrilled...I decided to have my hair colored/highlited/cut for her sweet sixteen party...Ruben was not available and I read wonderful reviews about Rafael, so I made the appointment with Rafael, and was extremely pleased...I let him decide upon the color of the highlites as well as the amount, and the result was a stylish cut, with natural looking highlites...I am telling my friends who travel to Manhattan and pay much more that they must try J'adore - you should too!!! Raphael is awesome! I've been to him twice and both times my highlights and cut came out great! He honestly exceeds my expectations. I have been disappointed in so many salons, which is why I will never go anywhere else. Prices are reasonable, the salon is trendy, clean and everyone is friendly:) Pros: Perfect color, great cut, non-pretentious salon. Cons: I want Raphael to do my hair everyday!! more

I just came back from the salon and could not wait to write how happy I am. I had a hair cut and highlights done by Rafael. He is an amazing guy and what a talent! Half a year ago I went to high end salon in Manhattan, where I left a lot of money and my highlights were barely visible. Rafael's job was perfect, all what I hoped for and more! He listens carefully to what you want and executes it with perfection. I am definitely coming back to this salon for an appointment with Rafael. Glad to find a person who can take care of my hair! Pros: nice salon, great stylists and very reasonable prices more
