This is a horrible store with even worse management. I came in to purchase a specific product which I normally use and love. The elder woman insisted me into buying this more expensive hair mask and shampoo. I was hesitant in trying something new, but she had told me if I didnt like it i could bring it back or get a store credit. The next day I came in and was helped by someone new. That employee told me something different and that the brand i had purchased was non returnable. I was furious when she told me this because not only did i spend over $100 on two products which i did not come in for, but the employee who sold it to me did not tell me it was non returnable! I asked if i could speak with a manager and guess who it was?! ... the elder woman who sold me the products. The employee told me that there was nothing she could do and that the manager was busy at the moment. I walked around the store and saw the manager in the back room snacking!! She was so busy snacking that she could not help her own customer from the other day. I cannot believe how disrespectful she was, and the tone of voice the manager had with me. After yelling at one another, she then decided to make the exchange only if i would spend more money. I would not have spent another dime if i didnt know where else to buy my products. Recently i have discovered RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET ANOTHER BEAUTY SUPPLY EMPIRE BEAUTY, which has better sales on almost all their products 50% off! So if you have experienced horrible service at this store before, try the place across the street. more

I love coming to this store because they have everything I need. They even have products that no other store has. The staff is very friendly, and they know a lot about their products. more

they carry a wide variety of brands, which can be daunting - and when I've asked for recommendations, I nearly always love the products the sales folks recommend. Sometimes they're out of stock with what i want, and they don't always know when it'll be in, but i usually just call periodically to check. I like that they have a card where if you spend $200 you get $20 off your next purchase, so even though their prices are average you still get a bit of a discount. more

I went into this store in need of a new curling iron. I knew the size I wanted but asked for help from a staff member to explain the differences between ceramic, titanium, tourmaline, etc. She gave me some information but because this store does NOT accept returns, I narrowed it down to two types, and decided to research which type would be best. I was writing down the two brands when another employee (middle age oriental lady), walked up to me and said I was NOT ALLOWED TO WRITE DOWN THE INFORMATION!!! I asked if she was serious and she said it was a store policy. I was considering one for $89 (that was not returnable) and she actually told me I could not write down the brand, price, etc. Where do they get these people? I will never do business with Jade after that? If that was the owner-shame on you! If that was an employee-your a fool for hiring her, and even more foolish for your ""store policy""! more

This place is one of the best things I discovered this year! I heard my friend mentioning this place one day and I finally decided to stop by. I usually shop at Ulta for my products, and let me tell you Jade's have all the products I use! I know it sounds crazy but its true. Theres a large range of products here. You could seriously spend days looking through everything. Its convenient that I could get my hair products, nail polishes for my daughters AND its only 5 minutes away from my house. I wish I couldve discover this place earlier instead of having to commute 15 minutes to Ulta all the time. Its a shame how customers with bad experiences only come here to complain. The gals there really helped me out and answered all of my questions. I would give this place 5 stars but I wish they have a larger range of higher end makeup. more

My mother who is 83 years old went to buy me a Christmas present of Shampoo and Conditioner. The sales lady selected the products and my mother paid. On Christmas eve we discover that the saleslady had given my mom two Conditioners instead of a shampoo. My mom went back to exchange one of the conditioners for the shampoo. The saleslady recognized her. However, when the owner became involved she told my mom ""too bad"" we don't exchange. She told my mom that if she didn't leave she would call the police. Who would do that to an 83 year old lady? Totally unacceptable!!!!! I've read other reviews and saw that other customers also have problems with their service. I can't believe they are still in business. However, I am also going to contact the Better Business Bureau. In this day and age noone should be allowed to stay in business when they deliberately defraud their customers. This business only has a star because I couldn't publish without a star. They deserve only a negative rating. more

Their selection is spot on and very thorough considering the size of the store. The gal who regularly works there is a wealth of knowledge and very personable. She answers even my most tedious questions. Most importantly, I can get my beloved products in my hood'. Cheers to beauty and health! Just another reason vanity is my favorite sin. more

This place has the WORST customer service, do not buy from them!! I have been a loyal customer for quite some time now, buying products that I could easily find for cheaper online. I had a bad experience with one of the employees last week, asked to speak to a manager or the owner who's occasionally in the store, only to be told they wouldn't give out the manager's name. I called a few times during the week to try to reach her, and then finally just left my name and number to have her call me back. ONE WEEK LATER after leaving my message with an employee, still no call back from the manager, so I call and find out when she'll be in. She says she knew that I had asked to have her call me back, but didn't think it was worth her time to do so since her employee gave her side of the story. The manager was also completely unapologetic for the bad service I received and treated me very rudely. This is completely unacceptable customer service, especially in this down economy. They've lost me as a customer, and I hope I can prevent everyone else from buying from this store too. Cons: Completely unacceptable bad customer service more

They sold me a combination of products from an acrylic nail system. When I discovered they did not include an additional product that is an essential part of the process, I went back to the store to purchase that item. I was told by Theresa (mgr), that they don?t have it, nor do any of their other stores. When asked what I was to do, she suggested I try other stores. After exhausting every store in, and out , of the area, I went back and told her. She was very prompt to tell me they have a ?no return policy? ? she couldn?t have cared less that I now had $60 worth of product I could not use. The fact I had been a loyal customer for many years meant nothing. The last time (and it was THE LAST TIME) I was in the store they still had the products on the shelf ? no doubt just waiting for another unsuspecting customer to walk through the door. Because of their ?no return policy? they feel they are covered. This is very understandable with most beauty products, but NOT when they talk you into buying products that they know you cannot use because it is not complete. Being honest, fair, and truthful is a golden rule. They broke every one of these. They obviously don?t care about their customers. I guess they don?t realize that ?word of mouth? advertising is the best form of advertising. So here we are ?. I would NEVER recommend this store. Cons: They do not deserve ANY stars more
