I first met Jay and Adriane in the spring of 2008. Jay designed a beautiful engagement ring for me. My wife loved (still loves) it. Jay was so easy to deal with and very fair. Jay has become my go to guy when I need a beautiful gift for my wife. I trust him to treat me in a very fair and professional manner. He also is great at educating me on the process. I never need to go anywhere else for my jewelry needs. Jay is the best in the business. more

Unbeknownst to me at the time, my fiance went to Jay Yontef after much searching, knowing that he wanted someone who could create a custom engagement ring. My fiance met with Jay several times to design a ring that was exactly what he (and, ultimately, I) was looking for. He was able to tell him what he did and didn't like, and Jay provided professional recommendations about what would produce the best ring. He helped my fiance pick the diamond, and sort through the priorities for selecting the stone he liked best. My fiance went into the process knowing a lot about diamonds, and appreciated the wisdom Jay provided. He never felt pressured. Jay was a joy to work with.\r \r The ring itself is more beautiful than I could have imagined my engagement ring would be. The quality, craftsmanship, and elegance is phenomenal. Jay worked with my fiance to design a ring that would be proportional to my small hands and slight figure by asking my fiance for a picture of me with my hands showing. He also made sure to set the ring low in its setting so that it wouldn't sit so high up on my finger. \r \r After my fiance proposed and we found the ring to be a size too large, Jay resized it beautifully, and there's no mark on the ring showing it was resized. \r \r All-in-all, both my fiance and I are thrilled with the ring and the service Jay provided. I had a few ideas of what kind of engagement ring my fiancé would want when I first met with J. and Adrianne, and I have to say that they went above and beyond my expectations. Not only did J. take the time to ask questions about my fiance, her job, her style, etc, he took the time to design something more elegant than I could have ever imagined. He explained the dynamics of buying a diamond to me and took the time to educate me about what to look for in a stone, and he was always quick to answer my questions and was easy to meet with. The final result was amazing. The ring's main stone is stunning, and J. took the time to make sure the smaller diamonds in the ring matched the main stone's color perfectly. My fiancé said it seemed like the ring was made for her--and it was! When she met with J. to get the ring sized, he was excited to meet her and explained some of the design process, and he made sure that the ring was sized to perfection. I can't recommend J. enough. There are plenty of jewelers out there, but he takes the time to create a unique, amazing product, works within your budget and provides a personalized experience that is unparalleled. He will certainly be my jeweler for life, and my fiancé is now looking forward to designing our weddings bands with him. more

Working with Jay and Adriane has been so lovely. My now husband consulted them first for my engagement ring. It is absolutely stunning but what I love even more is the thought that went in to the ring and all that my husband learned in the process. There's already a story behind it, making it by far one of a kind and irreplaceable. While having the expertise needed for creating spectacular works of art, they also treat you like family at the same time, a combination which is hard to find. Overall an unparalleled experience and I would highly recommend them. more

I feel very fortunate to have found J Yontef! I had a year long Ordeal with a local Jewelry Co. who made a custom ring for me. After two failed attempts and thousands of dollars, I knew that they were not capeable of doing what they said. Jay was so confient and also compasionate towards me for what I had been through. I simply explaind what I wanted the ring to look like and a few weeks later it was completed. It was everything I asked for and more! My husband took one look at the ring and said ""it looks exactly the way it always should have"". Im very proud to wear this ring for the rest of my life. It is absolutely beautiful and one of a kind. We could not be happier. Thank you so very much for your detailed design skills. I will always appreciate your talents and kindness. Now This is a Heart! I asked Jay and Adrienne if they could repair a broken necklace that had small monetary value but meant a great deal to me. They assured me it could be done and did an excellent job. I also left them with several pieces of vintage jewelry I had never worn. They advised me on restoring each piece and I arrived to pick up two lovely new necklaces and a beautiful bracelet. I have known Jay Yontef for many years, starting when he worked in a renowed jewerly store in South Orange , New Jersey. When I could not find what I was looking for, I found him on the net and emailed him. I told him what I wanted to surprise my wife, whose 60tjh birthday was coming up and he did not let me down. I told him the birth stone and the price range and let him do he thing. Now I know why Jay and Adrianne are world renowed jewelers. I was astonished at the finished product, the quality and the professionalism they have. It came in on budget and my wife was overwhelmed when I gave it to her. It was AMAZING!\r \r I let them go and they did not let me down. Jay Yontef and his wife Adrienne provide incredible customer service and amazingly beautiful custom jewelry. They take the time to listen to what the ""piece"" means to you from an emotional standpoint (is it a family heirloom to be reset? Or a brand new ring to celebrate a new engagement?) Either way, they take the time with each customer to insure that the finished product is not only a stunning piece of jewelry, but also a reflection of the person and the circumstances surrounding it. I would highly recommend J. Yontef to anyone who appreciates personal, genuine service and who wants to be involved in the design of their jewelry (with the advice and assistance of a true jeweler, of course!). I met with Mr. Yontef for around 1.5 hours to discuss a $20,000 ring purchase. After our consultation he decided for whatever reason that he did not want my business and was very rude about it. Don't waste your time or money on this jeweler. He does not feel that he should earn his business. Look elsewhere if you want a friendly experience with a jeweler who cares. more

During the Christmas holidays, I had the pleasure of meeting Jay and Adriane through a mutual acquaintance. After discovering that they design custom jewelry, my husband and I decided to have something special made as an anniversary/birthday gift. Since we both know very little about jewelry, we did a lot of research on our own as well as read numerous reviews about Jay and Adriane. The entire experience from start to finish was an absolute pleasure. We learned more from them than we could have possibly learned from the internet. Not only were they extremely patient with us, but they listened to what we wanted. Jay kept us informed throughout the entire process. My necklace is stunning! I recently inherited a diamond ring from my grandmother. The ring contained beautiful diamonds, but the setting was extemely outdated. My goal was to re-set the diamonds into a simple 5 stone diamond ring. After being treated poorly by the larger jewlery stores in Green Hills, I found Jay and Adrienne through a google search-- and I am so glad that I did! I provided Jay with a few images of what I wanted. He then created a CAD image of what my ring would look like. One week later, the ring was on my finger! \r \r Jay worked with my budget, and I ended up getting a custom ring (including a GIA appraisal) for cheaper than it would have cost at any of the larger jewlery stores! \r \r I could not recommend Jay enough-- he was a pleasure to work with, he is passionate about his job, and the finished product far exceeded my expectations. more
