My first impression of this company was the ground floor entry into a grimy office building that smelled like stale urine. \r \r It was a sign of things to come.\r \r Don't expect to be dealing with the courteous professionals you generally encounter at most real estate offices. The people who work here are uneducated parasitic bottom feeders. \r \r I don't know where they dredged up their staff from, but if you need anything from them you're more likely to get a profanity laced tantrum than help. \r \r If they don't see the color of green dangling right in front of thier faces good luck getting anything done. \r \r If you're thinking of doing business with J&L my advice is to just keep driving.\r \r more

Steer Clear!! This is by far the worst Property Management Company in the State of Florida. Untrained Staff, Unlicensed Property Managers, Greedy Owners and insidious business practices. They are strictly about money... they don't care about anything else and if the girls up front take a disliking to you....they become impossible to work with!!!!!! more

J & L Management is the worst i have had the luck to be involved with and any association that uses them is a very poor place to try and work with. Anything that needs to go through them is handled so slowly or not at all. In other words if you own property there and you want to rent your condo Good Luck... you will lose the tenant and your money as they do not care!!!!! more

Poor Service 10/10/2011

I am so disgusted with this co. that I actually signed up for an account just so I could share it with everyone. No matter what time you call, you never get a live person. You are routed directly to voice mail for each employee and even when you dial there extension you don't get a person. I called last week and still no call back. This kind of service is what contributes to the housing crash. If buyers and sellers can't get the info they need - units do not sell. How about an email address if u don't want to answer the phone! more

Money Mongers 10/5/2011

As a realtor we are required to deal with management companies on behalf of our clients. One of my clients was purchasing a condo with his brother. They each paid $150 for the application. One buyer's credit was not acceptable to the association, so they asked me to have that buyer removed from contract. We did just that. Then they had the nerve to charge the one buyer another $150 for his application, although we submitted an exact copy of the first one. $450.00 for one applicant. more

RUDE, INEFFICIENT, UNDERHANDED! 8/31/2011

Because I am a real estate professional I have to deal with this company all the time. I deal with a lot of management companies and this one is by FAR the WORST. The people who work in the office are rude and very unco-operative. At this time when housing is a real issue for a lot of people they are making it very difficult for everyone and adding to a an already horrible problem. Instead of making the road easier they ADD all kinds of red tape to the process of buying, selling and renting. I understand that management companies must screen prospective clients but the manner, tone and efficiency in which it is done can make a big difference. I have known them to be underhanded and manipulative. They are strictly about money... they don't care about anything else and if the girls up front take a disliking to you....they become impossible to work with...STEER CLEAR! more

I would rate them in the negative if it was applicable! If they are the property management company in your community I WOULD BE VERY CONCERNED!! I would bet your funds are being mismanaged worst than their office. I can tell you our investigation lead no where, Jim Calderazzo (the owner) is very crafty. Steer clear of J&L... If your board wont listen, take over and throw them out... like we did. They are BAD news!!! bad bad bad more

Horrible 8/13/2010

1 star is too high, even 1/2 a star would be too high. I wish there would have been an option to select 0. No one ever answers their phones there, they do not care about their customers. My community utilizes them as a property management company basically to fork over money to them and add to their paychecks yet the very same people that are forced to pay are treated horrible! They show no concern and consideration, are rude and unprofessional. They have no business working with the public. more

shop before you choose 10/7/2007

shop before you select any management company. Check if they are licensed to perform what that are selling . Ask for five references . Cons: To numerious to mention. more
