I can't say enough good things about the quality of the people and the quality of the service at J. Joseph Salon. I've been going there for almost 3 years now and have always had a great cut and color. I've also had them do my makeup and manicures for special events and always been pleased. I've highly recommended them to my friends and neighbors and will continue to do so. more

I had the service with their top master stylist for highlights and a cut. After $220.00 and almost five hours, i ended up with: burnt hair, split ends, hair does not brush easily after wash and a conditioning balm, highlights color light brown on my dark brown hair, hair does not style at all. THEIR MASTER STYLIST WAS WORKING ON TWO MORE CLIENTS AT THE SAME TIME SHE WAS WORKING ON ME AND GUESS WHO WAS ASSISTING HER-A NAIL PERSON!!! WAY TO GO, ROY NACCOUR SALON!!! AND WHEN I SAID I DID NOT LIKE WHAT I GOT, SHE SAID HOW MANY CONDITIONING THEY PUT IN AND THIS IS THE BEST THEY COULD GET-EVEN I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 10 AND 30 VOLUME BLEACH!!! WORSE, WHEN I REQUESTED MONEY BACK, THEY THREATENED ME WITH THEIR LAWYER!!! NACCOUR HIMSELF WAS RUDE AND REFUSED TO LOOK AT THE RESULT OF HIS SALON'S TOP MASTER WORK!!! Oh, and when my Mom went to tint they lashes and eye brows the same day, they WAXED HER EYEBROW IN HALF!!! And the cheapest mascara would give more color then their tinting!! more

I had my first visit today. I must say, coming from Atlanta I was quite impressed. Not only did I possibly receive the best cut and color I have ever had, Lisa took her time to educate me on the products she used as well as gave me a mini blow dry lesson. I am confident with the knowledge she gave me, I will be able to do this myself. I will return for my next visit in 6 weeks. more

I was introduced to J. Joseph Salon about a year ago and I am so happy with the service I've received. Lisa does an amazing job with my hair. She is a genius. I have sent other friends and family members there and they have been very pleased, as well. Roy and the staff are very nice and welcoming. They recently opened a nice spa area with a great nail specialist, Rosetta. I would definitely recommend this salon! more

I recently moved into the Land o Lakes area and was thrilled to see this new salon so close to my house. My best friend is getting married this weekend and I needed a little color touch up and a trim. I had spent the past year growing my hair out for the up do she waned us all to have for the wedding. \r \r Stacy worked on my hair... or should I say butchered my hair that day. Even after we had an entire conversation about keeping my hair long because of the wedding she just started snipping away and make a mess out of my hair. The ""layers"" (that is what she called them) were totally uneven and all over the place. There was no consistency and the color was grey. \r When I called to ask for some type of compensation they told me that I was over reacting and it's just a cut. She worked too hard on the hair to offer any compensation. Then the owner, Roy (another idiot) offered me a salon credit. Why the heck would I go back to them after A. what they did to my hair and B. how they treated me when I told them I was unhappy with their services. \r \r Don't waste your time!!! The worst experience with a service company in my life!!!\r \r Pros: Nothing...horrible place! Cons: Everything... more

After struggling time after time to find a salon in the Tampa area that gave me the results I was looking for, I finally found J. Joseph Salon. The decor is beautifully European and the environment is warm and comforting, never hurried. The pace has always been consistently pleasant and I've never been left to wait unnecessarily. The owner and his stylists are friendly and knowledgeable, taking time to listen to their client's requests and providing their expert knowledge to each client as needed. Roy's scalp massage is the best! They inform each client as to how they can best achieve the same satisfying salon-style results at home as well. They always remember to cordially ask if you'd like to schedule your next appointment before you leave, which is especially important around the holidays or prior to events that I've attended when I wanted to look my very best.
