Working with the staff/family of Irini's was a truly wonderful experience. Ten years ago, I bought my senior prom dress here. This year, I bought my wedding dress at Irini's. The fact that it is all family run is really important to me, and this family is wonderful. \r When I arrived, Niki greeted me and immediately found a dress that was not only in my price range that we discussed, but also looked stunning on my figure. It also matched my mother's veil perfectly. Niki let us scan the racks (which, I read below and some people seem to think is terrible, but I really enjoyed! All people that came with me had a really fun time!). After trying on about 9 other dresses that I loved, two which were so different and looked so beautiful, Niki pulled a dress that turned out to be very different from what I thought wanted, and yet was ""the one."" Niki really spent the time to get to know me and my style throughout the process, a process that was just so easy and enjoyable!\r I was truly impressed by the professionalism that Niki had, as well as the passion and love for materials and fabrics. It is truly an art what she does, and I am so happy that she spent the time to talk to me about what she could do to make the dress perfect. Niki was so friendly and helpful, that I wish all future brides get the opportunity to work with her. She spent a great amount of time on me, and then allowed us to scan the bridesmaids dresses. \r Thanks so much! more

My wife looked beautiful in her Casablanca dress from Irini's Originals. \r I came back from deployment overseas and got married in August. Because of the change of wedding date, the people from Irini's were more than gracious to adjust alterations to our new wedding date. I wanted to thank them for their excellent service and adaptability.\r more

Oh Lord, where do I start??\r \r I made an appointment for bridesmaid dress shopping over a month ago. My girls (2) and I showed up for said appointment 5 minutes early. We walked in and the mother said something to one of my bridesmaids (I found out later that she simply barked ""food and drink"" while pointing to a table. This is the least of their sins though - keep going). Nikki came down with the pleasant voice I remembered from the telephone and asked if this was my whole party - yes. She asked if I knew what I was looking for - yes, I said as I pulled 9 printouts (specific with designers and item #s) from a folder. Things are going to great, right? Wrong.\r \r Nikki pointed to a tiny room that we could use to try on dresses bc we had an appointment, and we continued through the store. What we did NOT expect was to be led into a small warm red room jammed with bridesmaids dresses and clusters of maids in various stages of undress, clambering for dresses. OK, I can deal with that.\r \r I told Nikki the TWO designers I was interested in and she took us to a back wall for one designer, then pointed to the other side of the room for the other designer, and left before I could blink. My girls and I poured through the racks for a few minutes, finding none of my choices, so I hoped to salvage the appt by checking for the other designer. Then it hit me - I have an APPOINTMENT and I'm going to be paying THEM. Why am I doing the pulling?? Pssh\r \r I took my girls and headed for the door, and Irini asked if I'd found my dress (Nikki was on the phone giving hours to some poor sucker). I tossed a ""no"" over my shoulder without breaking stride. We were in and out in 5 minutes, and my poor mom got to experience the Irini treatment on her own. She went in, told Irini she was there for me, and was told that Nikki would know where I was...and then she sat down to stamp business cards without another word. My mom waited patiently until Nikki happened to stroll out, told her I was gone and that she was ""surprised"" that we'd left so quickly. Imagine that.\r \r I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. more

WORST STORE, Niki and her husband are very unprofessional. They need to learn how to run a business. They have no class, horrible customer service and most of all have no idea how to treat a bride and her family. more

If I could give this business zero stars, I would. I had to order a bridesmaid's dress from Irini's Originals. When speaking with the owner's daughter, Nikki, I explained my situation that I have been experiencing significant difficulty finding the specific product in my area. She assured me that she could help. I told her my measurements for the specified dress. She informed me the measurements came out to a size 12. I explained to her that I am normally a size 6. She assured me that bridal items traditionally run smaller and she, again, assured me that the size I ordered would be appropriate for the event. When I received the item today, I was extremely displeased to find that the dress was extremely large (2 sizes too large). I called Nikki back. When I reminded her of my situation, she was extremely rude and extremely unhelpful. She insisted that there was ""absolutely nothing"" she could do to fix this issue and that it would be ""impossible"" to send this dress back. I am completely dissatisfied. Not only am I unhappy with the final product, I am extremely unhappy with the rude demeanor of one of this business' top employees. I do not feel that it is fair that I was assured several times that the final product will be up to my standards, while it clearly is not, and I was not treated with respect when attempting to resolve this issue. I offered to return the product for in order to receive a correct size--and again, I was treated with disrespect. I am extremely dissatisfied with this company's product and service. I find it utterly ridiculous that even though this mistake was not my fault, I was treated very rudely and not assisted with attempting to resolve this issue. more

VERY Disappointed!! My sister is getting married and we ordered the bride and bridesmaid dresses from this shop and when came time for the dresses to be altered everyone's dress was not altered correctly. My dress' hem was completely and very noticeably crooked. The sides were not taken in correctly either . I do not recommend this place at all to anyone. Poor customer service when confronted with the issue of the dresses not being finished when asked (one month before the wedding) and appointments were set. Their response for not having completely finished and ready for pick-up was they were rushed and it's not normal for a bride or bridesmaid dress to be ready for pick-up more than the week of the wedding. UNACCEPTABLE!!! For the amount of money we paid for the dress and alterations, also the dresses were not pressed. Now we ALL have to take elsewhere for final alterations and fixing all the mistakes made. RIDICULOUS!!!!!!! more

With a wedding shop on every corner, I could not believe the way we were treated at Irinis. The sales woman and seamstress treated my entire wedding party and especially my mother poorly. I am 2 weeks from my wedding and have no dress or veil. They lied and failed to deliver what they promised. I would highly recommend that you go elsewhere even if the sales woman tries to work you a deal. She is dishonest. Why trust someone so untrustworthy with your wedding dress? more

Irinis Originals was recommended to me back in August by my cousin and many others who have used them. I went in w/ my parade of 12 bridesmaids found dresses we loved at a total steal! Measurements were taken deposits were given it was a very smooth and easy operation! I must have called once a week for like 5 weeks to change colors sizes, etc. and when the dresses came in they were everything i imagined and more! ALL 12 sizes were perfect, colors awesome and appts were made for everyone to pick them up with no problem. As for my bridal gown, they were so precise with the alterations and even enhanced some aspects of the dress to make it look AWESOME! My wedding is in June and i can sit easy knowing that it will be awesome. Any time i called with a question or to make appts i was given answers within 24hrs. I would recommend this place to everyone i know! They are very professional with extremely affordable prices and they thrive on making you 100% satisfied! Frustrating to deal with - gave our bridal party the run around trying to pick up dresses - even made an appointment and the girl was not there after speaking with her personally to make the appointment - unbelievable! DO NOT BUY FROM! more

I stopped in on a whim not expecting to try anything on. Nikki was the only one there and welcomed me with open arms. I tried on several dresses and not once was did she rush me or was she pushy. She was the exact opposite. She really took her time with me and made sure I found what I was looking for. I came in with something specific in mind and she wound up pulling a dress that I wouldn't have picked that wound up being PERFECT!! The dress was half off so I got a steal!!!!! I did not see one dress above $2,000. My experience here was amazing. I was able to keep my dress there after I purchased and Nykki and her mom will be doing the alterations. I just know they will do a fabulous job! Great experience. I have tried on dresses at two other places in the past and this was the only time I felt like I was treated as a bride! I felt so special. Irini's Originals was an awesome experience. I went to the store with my mother and bridesmaids. We had to wait for a little bit, but we were allowed to look through all the dresses which was fun and wonderful. Pros: Personalized Service, Very Attentive, Savy Saleslady more

My Maid of Honor and I went in and found the dress in less than 20 minutes. The service was great, everyone was friendly. I wasn't ""pressured"" into anything, I order what I wanted without any stress! Awesome!! Pros: Courtesy, Knowledgable, Large Variety more

I was greeted right away and given the opportunity to look at ALL the dresses, tons of them. I was told about the ones I liked and they did what was needed to make me feel special. Individual attention and detail were given. Two other customers walked in and I still thought I was the only one. Great experience and it is where I am getting my dress from!! I also had a very positive experience at Irinis. The sales people (owner and daughter) were very sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable. They didn't make me feel rushed, or pressured to buy immediately like some shops. They have a nice selection of gowns that were reasonable priced (20% off the ticketed price). I STRONGLY disagree with these two people! This family owned business has been around for 30 years and their experience in the tri state area is truly unmatched! My wedding date was set approximatly 8 months after I was engaged. I shopped around to find the best selection and price for wedding gowns. Irini's Original was the only bridal shop that was willing to work with me on such short notice and give me the best price. They said they would match any price of their competitors. There was a specific dress I wanted that I found at another store for $50 less. They not only gave me that price, but also gave me another $25 off that price. Because I live an hour and a half away from their store, they asked me to send in my measurements. I was apprehensive about the delivery of the dress since I knew I was almost 6 months from my wedding date and the dresses normaly take 4 to 6 months for delivery. I spoke with the owner's daughter who helped expedite my order and said she would have my dress at her store in 4 months. Sure enough my dress came in 9 weeks before my wedding! I went to the store within days of delivery to get fitted. I was really nervous about the size of the dress,but the dress fit almost perfectly. Hardly any major alterations had to be made! I suppose the other reviewer didn't send in the right measurements because my dress fit me almost perfectly. Also, the price of the alterations were no more than any other place in the area. I would recommend this bridal shop to anyone who wants the best prices, fantastic selection, and exceptional/accomadating service! Pros: Wonderful service and the best prices! The family seemed very nice and willing to help us when trying on the dresses. .. We had a bridesmaid that was pregnant at the time, so they helped estimate what size to order b/c the owner's daughter was there that just had a baby too. I got measured and ordered a size larger so that I had room for alterations. Another girl called with her measurements and they tried to get her to order a smaller size, but she went up a size as well, just to be cautious. We were told that they would call and let us know when they placed the order and provide an estimate of when they will be ready. After waiting a few weeks, I (Bride's sister) called to ask when they would be in...they asked me when they were ordered...I told them I didn't know...they told me they couldn't help me...! Then the bride called a few days later to inquire, still NO HELP. They didn't want to take the time to look up our account. A few weeks later we called and someone finally looked up our order and said in two weeks. We called back in two weeks and they said, oh sorry we forgot to call to let you know they were in. Pros: Nice area to drive through. Cons: Horrible service, poor English, Bad customer service, bad business people, liers. more

DO NOT SHOP AT IRINI'S ORIGINALS IN WILMINGTON, DE!!!!! I had the worst possible experience there and even had to threaten calling the police!! They lied to me and took advantage of the fact that I am a bride... tried to charge me for things that coem WITH the dress price... ridiculous!!! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!!!! Pros: Selection is OK Cons: SERVICE HORRIBLE, they try to take advantage of new brides!!!! more
