Interface Security Systems

The so-called security system was in place when I bought my home. The ""tech"" sent to show me how to use it was unbelievably rude - he was also 30 minutes early and showed up without calling..I was busy, but afraid if I didn't let him in I would have to make another apptmt. Recently the alarm has gone off twice in the middle of the night. Interface did NOT call me....I dialed 911 and waited 40 minutes afraid in the office waiting for the Jefferson Co Sherifff's Dept to show up. I called Interface and the SUPERVISOR told me there are so many storms the call EVERYBODY. WHAT?????? Last week it went off - same thing - no call - nothing. I called them and was told it was a tamper with the deck door. They would have eventually called me. WHAT??? They told me someone would call me after the weekend - Tuesday...yes, they called at 4:45PM which ensures I could not make an apptmt. I did make an apptmt for today (THURS) and missed the apptmt...They have my cell number, but did not call. I cld them and apologized...They cannot get to my apptmt now until 7/13th. I haven't turned the alarm on since it went off and they didn't call, etc....I am not paying them I am not using it...I will instead call ADT. Do NOT USE this company. While some of the techs are very cordial, they aren't the ones you're forced to deal with.\r more

My office was robbed so we contacted this company for an alarm system, everything seemed to go fine until we decided we wanted to go with another monitoring company, one that was local. We called to cancel the contract well in advance. I continue to receive bills and spoke several times to customer rep's and everyone I spoke with said there was nothing noted on the account. I received a letter from the main office and it stated that we owed and if it was not paid they would cancel our service - GOOD I told them, I sent them a fax explaining who I spoke with and when and that we wanted the services stopped to begin with. Thinking this nightmare was finally over I was surprised today by a phone call from a collection agency stated that if I did not provide COMPANY checking account information for payment over the phone with no bill (the amount is DOUBLE) to be provided they would file legal action against me personally!! I called Interface and they refused to speak to me....I just want this nightmare to end more

DO NOT USE Interface Security. Interface Security is untrustworthy and provides terrible customer service. I have written to Michael Shaw, Mike McLeod and Chris Honigman, the President, COO and VP of Sales regarding mistakes made by Interface. None of them responded. I did receive a letter for someone named B. Modglin, his response was in red and very belligerent. This company is inept, dishonest and is not capable of monitoring properly. Interface, to mention a few mistakes, have called in the middle of night regarding a non-emergency, installed lesser equipment even though a higher spec equipment was paid for, and let faceplate exposed with wires sticking out.
