Great customer service from the whole staff! Ashleigh Lipford worked very quickly in getting me a perfect match and motivating me. The same day they interviewed me over the phone they set an appointment for the very next day with the client. The supervisor Tiffanie Blanco met me before the interview at the location so ensure I was fully informed before my interview. I attended countless interviews with various agencies and directly with employers for nearly two years, but my job search was in vain. In late August 2011, Global Insight called me, I did the same interview, filled out the same paper work, actually, I did the same process as the other agencies. The big difference was that a few weeks later they called me to offer me a contract. It was only a month, but it got extended and I ended up working for four months. This contract was not even finished when they started looking for another opportunity for me. I got another contract that unfortunately did not work, but immediately I got another one which was better because is a longer term contract. All this was done in about 3 weeks from the end of my first contract. Of course that also has a lot to do with what a good employee I am ... since I worked well, they did not stop until they got me a great job in return for my exellent work. Funny how the latest reviews have been from internal employees that are all 5-star rated. Also funny how they all come within a few weeks of each other(Jan. 2010 to Feb. 2010). Knowing how this company works, I can promise someone internally asked their employees to get on here and write great reviews. Shady, shady, shady. Most of these employees will be singing a different tune a few years from now. \r \r Bottom line: High turnover and plenty of young folks to drink the Kool-Aid. When I began applying for jobs directly out of college I never dreamed an opportunity as amazing as Insight Global would come my way. After being with the company for only 2 years, a year and a half being an account manager, I am now what most would consider extremely successful and have the opportunity to spend every day with people that have become my family. \r \r Insight Global only promotes from within and is a large company with a ""small company"" feel. I know that if I ever have a question or concern I can pick up the phone and call the owner of the company directly on his cell phone. \r \r My father passed away in August of this year, and everyone in the company wrapped their arms around me and really came together as a family. My hometown where the funeral was is 3 1/2 hours away, and over 10 people from my office made a day trip to show me support. But not only were my coworkers there for me, but my clients were as well. They would call into the offic every day asking how I was doing and if there was anything they could do to help. \r \r If you are looking for an amazing opportunity where hard work is rewarded with a family and unlimited commission, then Insight Global is the place for you. It's hard to believe that people actually have negative comments and feelings towards Insight Global. I started with Insight Global almost seven months ago and I couldn't have picked a better company to work for. This company promotes from within and this date is measured by your driven, aggressive personality, and dedication not by the time you have been with the company. I was promoted after six months and I don’t know many companies that promote someone who has only been with the company after six months, but see that is just one of the reasons why Insight Global is such a great company. They truly are about their employees and want to see them succeed. This leads me to the only answer of why someone would ever say something negative towards this company. This job isn’t for everyone. You will have to work at it every day and work harder than you have probably ever worked before. With that said, this company rewards your hard work and has endless opportunity for success. If you asked the most successful people in the world how they became so successful, I bet you not one of them would say that it was extremely easy and he or she never had to work at it. Insight Global is full of successful, driven people that get up every morning with that attitude. Yes we all are young and hungry to make a lot of money, but that’s what makes coming to work every day that more exciting. Every single person in this company, even the leadership, are some of the hardest working, energetic, selfless people I have ever met. The culture and nature of this job is to do whatever it takes to put yourself out there, work hard every day, never give up and success will follow. I was looking for a job like everyone else in the world, it seemed. One afternoon I received a phone call from an Insight recruiter. They linked me to an assignment that made my previous job look like a funny farm. It was a perfect fit! Their job was to find a talented individual, and when no one else was looking at my resume, they swooped in to save the day. Insight Global is a place where hard work and dedication will pay off. I have been with this company for two years and I could not imagine myself anywhere else. To be part of this company is a privilege...do they demand a lot out of you? Of course, but it is rewarding! In less than a year you can be promoted to a sales role where you have the opportunity to make a very good living. The caliber of people I work with on a daily basis is something that really makes Insight Global special. I know that each and everyone of my coworkers will help me out. We get to go on 3 sales conferences in a year, one in Miami and 2 in Atlanta. We certainly don't stay at a Howard Johnson; we stay at the Lowes South Beach and the Ritz Carlton Buckhead, pretty nice places. We are rapidly growing and the future is extremely bright for IGI! These people may have had a bad experience with our company, which is unfortunate, but what is more unfortunate is that there are far more stories of our contractors and clients who are beyond happy with the services we provide and those stories happen to not be the ones told on these blogs. Insight Global is made up of some of the most hard working, caring, and selfless people that I have ever had the pleasure to meet and work with. Yes, we may be young, but if anything that is what makes us better. We are young, driven, and do not take what we do lightly. Having to tell a person that they didn't get the job or that our client wants us to fire them is not an easy thing to do, but it is a reality of our job that we take very seriously and is ultimately out of our control. I am one of the many who have been through the worst employment experience in my career with this joke of an organization. They have no consideration for people's well-being and no respect for others in the industry. Their immature approach to their business practices reflect the age and hiring criteria they have internally. When I went to meet some of their internals for happy hour, they were acting like a bunch of fraternity and sorority kids on Spring Break. One of them actually started to make me feel very uncomfortable. I'm a happily married woman with two children. I just thought I might meet their team and immediately regretted it. If I didn't need the money at the time, I would have quit right there on the spot. \r \r If they contact you to present their business or an open position, RUN! I was unfortunate enough to accept a contract through this company 6 months ago. The entire staff is 22 year old frat guys and girls. It seemed like every time I would call into the office I had a new rep because mine was no longer there. I cant even fathom the amount of internal turnover this place has. My new hire paperwork was ""lost"" twice and it took me 5 weeks to get my first paycheck after being told I would receive a direct deposit during my second week of work. I was originally hired to be part of a project with 4 other contractors and was dismayed when I found out that my team members were being paid $12/hr more than me by their staffing companies. Ive been contracting for 15 years now and immediately knew I was being ripped off as a result of their greed. When I called into discuss this I was treated very rudely by the office manager who also sounded like a kid. They offered me a .50 raise, yes that is 50 cents, before I hung up on them. I urge all IT professionals to stay away from this chop shop operation and stick with the reputable companies in the area because there are plenty willing to respectfully earn your business in this economy. I had the displeasure of working with this organization for a lengthy period of time. Let me just say, you will never see an company that is so shady. Their business practices are are completely unethical, their employees are completely inexperienced, and they will squeeze you (Contractors) for every dime possible. Flat out-- They are a chop shop-- Straight up ""Boiler Room"" style. They would even use some Boiler Room terms in their office. Can we say cheesy? The offices are run and managed by kids a few years or so out of college that have no business running a so-called ""professional"" company. Contractors/ recruiters/ sales people-- Stay away!
