Down with TV.... Who's with me? more

If you are a customer don't try to rearrange your services unless you are willing to PAY A LOT for them. I tried to upgrade my phone service. I was told I had to drop the service for at least 1 month and then come back to get the upgrade. I did as instructed and my bill skyrocketed by $50/mo. and that was w/o the phone. Seems I lost a discount for bundled service but the agent did not tell me about any such consequences. I called the company regarding the situation and was informed that there was nothing they could do for me and that I was stuck. Well I got news for them because they actually aren't the only game in town and as soon as I get my e-mail squared away with a different account Insight will no longer be a service provider for me. I am going to contest their bill through the BBB and the State Attorney General's Office. more

I had insight for a few months (this would have been late 2002)- I dropped it when my rates skyrocketed (just ofr basic services) and my internet was always going down. My husband and I avoided Insight and now AT&T does DSL in our area (we're in Jeffersonville). We have not had a service call yet and we've had service since end of December. I used to call Insight about every 3 days :( I know my neighbor next door calls them about that often. It's sad watching them stand and look up a pole and be confused. Good luck! more

We used to have BellSouth for the DSL and our home phone. We were paying a little over $100 a month. This was until we got an ad from Insight in the mail and called them. We now have satellite cable (we didn't have anything but local channels before because we couldn't afford Dish with BellSouth), home phone, and cable speed internet with Insight for about $85 a month! We have more than we had before and for less money! Great deal! more
