Ordered a winter cover from Bruce in the fall of 2009 and scheduled a spring opening. I gave Imperial $750 down payment on the cover. When Imperial opened pool in the spring of 2010, they did a horrible job! I paid for the opening in full and asked Bruce for my deposit back on the cover. He agreed, now December of 2010 and he still has not sent me the $750. Bruce is not truthful and I will be taking him to court to get my money!! Do not use Imperial! more

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY 12/19/2009

I went with Imperial over several more expensive companies to install a salt-chlorinator on my inground pool. Installation was smooth, and price was great. Turns out the unit was not strong enough for my pool and I still had to add chlorine daily ! I called once a week for 6 weeks, and gave all details on chlorine levels. Every company I called told me that Bruce had installed the wrong size cell for my pool. Bruce told me he was working with the manufacturer to get the replacement at cost - summer ended and I never heard from him again. I had another company close my pool and I guess I'm stuck next year with a $2000 chlorinator that still requires me to use additional chlorine ! This guy doesn't call back, doesn't follow through, and doesn't seem to know what he's doing. He may be cheaper, but learn from my mistake and go with the next highest estimate. AVOID IMPERIAL !!! Pros: cost was less than competition Cons: Installed wrong unit - never replaced with right one more

The WORST BUSINESS EVER!! 7/4/2008

We called Imperial Pool to open and clean our pool. All we got was a bill for twice the amount that was quoted to us and our pool was still black!!! They did not clean or vacuum the pool, although they told their boss that - and he did not believe us. He was so rude and did not even apologize about the inconvienance. Instead, we had to call him every day to see when the pool guys were going to finish the job. Bruce is probably the worst business owner we have ever encountered. He does not care about his customers or his reputation. I could write more about how horrible the situation was but the bottom line: Bruce contradicted every conversation we had with him and acted like we were crazy, when in reality his employees just dumped chemicals and left. Pros: nothing Cons: everything more
