I went in to see Stephanie at the salon for a cut and color. I got almost 8 inches cut off(first TRUE hair cut in about 6 year...other than trims)she did EXACTLY what I asked for!!! She did wonderful highlights and lowlights on it as well! I have been asked over and over ""who did your hair? I love it I want mine just like it!"" The salon was so nice and relaxing...all staff is so very nice and knowledgeable. They offer all the ""high end salon spa"" services with out the high end salon spa uptight feel. I can not say enough good things about this salon...I walked out of there feeling like I had had a day at the spa and all I got was a cut and color! Can't wait to go back!!! Upscale but NOT uptight like some of the Charlotte salons. And like the Charlotte salons they offer massages, waxing, facials, manicures and pedicures, and great hair stylists. I have MEG cut and style my hair. First time I went she listened to what I wanted and helped me understand that because of how my hair grows and it's texture there are some things that it just won't do without a LOT of ""fussing"" with it on my part. I hate to ""fuss"" so I took Meg's suggestions and let her cut. Because of her knowledge of hair, styling, color, and product my hair looks and feels better than it ever has. I live in Delaware, and visit NC a few times a year to see my family. This time I decided to get my hair done while I was there because I had been feeling disatisfied with my experiences at home. So, I got in touch with a good friend who did not hesitate to recommend Imagez. I called and scheduled an appointment with Parrish, and when I arrived I was really Wow'ed! The atmosphere and decor are elegant and trendy, and the whole experience was very relaxing. I have never felt so pampered! I had color done, and Parrish and Stephanie consulted to give me the best highlights I have ever had. The cut is wonderful and easy to manage even though I am growing out. Overall, I left looking and feeling better than ever! I will definitely be back--and it is a hell of a commute! Pros: Feeling pampered, fun but relaxed atmosphere Cons: it is too far away! more

I decided to find a local salon rather than driving uptown since I didn't have the time. I thought that with my hair being mid-way down my back it wouldn't be an issue to have someone cut about six inches off and add a few layers. I was more than wrong. MEG, sometimes MEGAN gave me a consultation and listened to what I wanted and she said she understood. Then, after she shampooed me I took off the cape and showed her where I wanted it cut to again. It was suppose to be three inches PAST my shoulders. After she cut the length off to begin the cut, she turned me around into the mirror. My hair was three inches ABOVE my shoulder with the hair just covering my neck in the back! So it was shorter in the back. She took off eleven inches! I am devastated and was in shock and all she had to say when I said it was so short and not what we talked about was your not used to it and that she couldn't put it back on. The issue here is she didn't listen AT ALL. I showed her three times where to cut it and stressed how scared I was just to cut the six inches off. This is not a quality stylist; she shouldn't even have a job after that. To top it off it was butchered and I had to go uptown to fix her horrific hair cut. Imagez Salon in Indian Trail just said they were sorry, it's never happened before and she does good work! To get to that point the owner said she would be with me and then sent the Manager up front to discuss. Honestly refunding me is just not worth all the suffering on my end. I am extremely upset, it will take about a year to get to the length she was asked to cut it at. I stress that no one should go to this salon! Unless you want to end up with a horrible cut that wasn't even anywhere near what you had requested nor desired. I can’t stress this enough. Stephanie always does my hair and does a great job. I always leave feeling very perky & sassy! She always listens to what I want then helps me to attain it! \r \r My mother has had Parrish do her hair and she loves him. I went in with what I had in mind and left looking better than I ever imagined. I have had so many compliments on my hair. Posh atmosphere with a very friendly staff. ...The prices are less than what you would expect for such a classy Salon and Spa. This is a hidden treasure on the outskirts of Indian Trail. I love having my hair done here. The atmosphere is just right, in my opinion - not so snobby or scary that I feel like a frumpy housewife, but fancy enough that I still feel like I'm being pampered.\r \r Stephanie always treats me like a friend, and really listens to what I ask her to do. I've never had my hair done by the other stylists, but they seem to have some very loyal customers, so that's a good sign.\r \r The stylists are professional, but still relaxed around each other. It seems like they're all good friends, so it's nice to walk into a place without tension flying among co-workers.\r \r Back to hair though - I'm happier now with my hair than I've ever been!
