I was using I-Go for quite some time, until a little over a year ago I had booked a car to pick up a friend at the airport. The car had not been returned to the lot where I had reserved the car. I panicked as I had just enough time for the drive to O'hare, but I calmly called I-go. I was put on hold for almost 20 minutes, then told they were unable to locate the car, and I could ""take a cab"" and then put in a request to be compensated later. I did not have an extra $100 to spend on a cab when I had booked a car for an afternoon. They were unable to get me another car, and the customer service was not what I had expected. While I understood it was not their fault that a user was delinquent, they could have been more helpful in accomodating the user who was a victim. \r

I have heard fantastic things about Zip Cars as well, and found they have more locations and options. I highly recommend car sharing, I do not reccommend choosing I-go over Zip.\r
Pros: Car sharing is cost effective
Cons: Not enough done for customers when hassles arise
