Hunter's Ridge Apartments

From first glance this complex seems pretty excellent. From the amenities to the friendly office staff it really does look like a great place to live. First hand advice... LOOK ELSEWHERE! Everything in this complex is outdated and requires constant maintenance. When you need something fixed expect to call the office multiple times, stop by in person multiple times, then sit back and wait for maintenance to finally show up. This whole process takes at least 3 weeks but dont expect maintenance to actually fix anything. The neighborhood is sketchy at best, I certainly wouldn't feel comfortable living here without a gun. They tell you the walls and ceilings are concrete and you wont hear your neighbors, extremely false statement. If you want to pay over $1000/month for a busted hole with incompetent management and fix everything that breaks yourself then Hunters Ridge is absolutely the place for you! more

I have lived here for almost 2 years, and let me tell you its been a life time. i had a problem with a broken dishwasher rack that they fixed with a nut and bolt...not the correct pieces, that took 2 months for them to do. and they came in when i wasn't home and told them not to enter my apartment if i was not there, but i guess they just didn't care. when we had those nasty storms earlier this year water was poring in from the deck upstairs and came down through the wall and pored out from the sliding glass door...so another 3 months passed and countless complaints took place before they replaced the door, and caulked the floor of the deck upstairs. had a leaky toilet for 6 months before it was fixed, not well mind you and then had to get a new toilet. the old staff was incompetent and slow. and the new management and some new staff are just the same. they still have the same maintenance people that don't know what they are doing. the rent is way too much for what you are actually paying for. the buildings are very old, the walls are paper thin....no joke i can clearly here the people across the hall talking...not yelling but just talking at a regular tone. once my lease is up in gone....one more thing, if it rains a little you will have flooding, at least by my apartment it comes up to my main door to the building which is a good foot deep, and is deeper in other areas. hope this helps you out in not choosing this place. good luck. more

after waiting somewhere around 4 months for someone to fix our dishwasher, someone came while i was at the doctor..left a paper on my table saying they fixed it..they did not. i called several other times, they told me that they were to busy at that moment but would make a note and someone would get to it as soon as they could. 2 more weeks past and just after sending us a note that their buildings would be being inspected they finally came and replaced it. I ran one load, unloaded it and the lock on top would not lock. Being around 4:30 p.m. i started calling them right away, of course all calls went to a machine, finally after 4 calls i left a message, by this time it was around 4:50 p.m. and i knew no one would bother, and I was right...it is now after 5, and nothing...but boy oh boy if your rent isn't there on the first they are charging you...maybe we should charge them. in fact, i think that is a fantastic idea..make them be accountable, if they do not come when promised, you get money, if they don't fix whatever in reasonable time, you get more money..that works for me...let's join forces and do something about it. If we knew all this in the beginning, we would never have moved here, and i am current on my rent and am never late with it...never !! i guess they don't appreciate that. more

For the second time in a year I have raw sewage pouring into my apartment. Not only did it take management over 6 hours to get back to me, but they had the gall to say that the raw sewage was nothing but ""Brown, smelly water that came from a toilet"" . The manager called me a liar and a whiner. Pros: looks good in the brochure! Cons: very bad maintenence more
