The best animal clinic I have ever been two out of the a total of 5! The vet was very knowledgeable and the staff was very nice and caring. Have been taking both my dogs here for about 2 years now! I even found their prices to be great for the price and lower than any of the other clinics. Would recommend! more

I LOVE this vet. We have sent our two pugs here for the past six years and the staff is awesome, the care is wonderful and we would go no where else for our boarding needs! We drive from Dayton, and it's well worth it! more

I have been taking a few animals here It's just OK kinda dirty, there is this blonde at the front desk who is a little stubborn and perhaps a little crazy she talks to herself like the other staff is talking to her like she is really busy the place was pretty empty cept for me and my screamin cat it was the weirdest thing ever!.When she went back to get my 20 yr old cat from dental surgery she closed her tail in her cage my cat was bleeding & was crying a lot so I felt like I should get her home DOC did not talk to me I still don't know how many teeth were extracted because crazy blond girl rushed all of us, Got home got her tail out it took forever to heal because of her age.No one called to check on her, med's didn't quite cover her pain. being under medicated and over sedated could have been her age but it made her run the house and fall down a lot & not be able to get up it was awful for both of us.Be careful on the bill too.Its always quoted one way then presented another *But if ur pet needs flea med's this is the place to go. Believe it or not personally I liked the doc's that are in there.but crazy talkin blonde chick needs to go! don't even get me started on the way they put my dog down Unbelievable AND INHUMAN!!! ALWAYS GO WITH UR ANIMALS IF U CHOOSE TO PUT THEM DOWN WHAT REALLY HAPPENS MAY SURPRISE YOU!!! more

more that just a vet 1/29/2011

I've been going to this practice for over 15 years and know Dr Perkins through the scouting program. He and his other doctors and staff have taken care of our pets that include not only dogs and cats but a hamster as well. They know us by name and always explain our pets problems and give us options on how to treat them so we don't feel intimidated. I'm impressed that Dr Perkins takes time to work in the community in scouts and has also touched the life of my son and many other boys and girls in the area. My daughter said she had fun when he went to the career day and Dr Perkins showed them pictures of his work and parasites in sample jars. She might even want to become a vet. This tell me he is interested in not just making money but the well being of our community and our family and pets. That is what sets them apart form the other vets in the area. more

I'd like to say that I'm very shocked at several of the negative comments about HHAH. My dog has been very sick over the past two years and I couldn't have asked for better care for her. These people have went over and above my expectations of what I consider to be their "job." Not one person in there has ever treated us with any disrespect. You can tell they love what they do and they are GOOD at it. Dr. Hinde in particular has been fabulous with us and without her, my dog would probably not be here today. New facilities aren't all they're cracked up to be.....newer isn't always better. To me it's about compassion, patience, understanding, kindness and knowledge. This group of individuals has made a difference in the life of my dog and a lifetime wouldn't be long enough to thank them for that. As for whoever doesn't like Dani-can't believe that...she's been great to us! Thank you HHAH- you guys are the best!!!!! more

Excellent doctors, caring staff 3/2/2010

We started taking our pets here when we moved out this way in 1997. We have always received the best care possible for our beloved pets. And, when the time has come (as it did for three of our pets in the past) for them to be put to sleep, the staff allowed us to remain in the room, petting our animals and saying goodbye as our little furry kids passed from this world into the next. I saw tears of compassion in the eyes of the doctors and staff as well. Afterwards, they sent us a note of sympathy, signed by everyone. To me, it is more important that a person have a good heart and good knowledge that they are willing to share with everyone, than that they have the newest facility. Pros: The caring doctors and staff Cons: The building is old and in need of remodeling more

User Rating: 1 out of 5 stars \r by Sunny's Avenger 02/18/2010 \r I took my cat, Sunny to them because he needed an operation to remove materials he'd swallowed. The day I came to pick him up, they told me he was dying and needed to be taken somewhere else because they were closing down for the Christmas holiday and couldn't even be bothered to give him the transfusion or IV fluids he needed. Oh, but don't forget to pay us the rest of what you owe on your way out....I spent almost $ 5,000.00 more to have him operated on again! I'm taking them to court! more

Unfit for an animal 2/18/2010

Disgustingly dirty throughout, staff rude and short to customers with nasty attitudes, no talent at healing, no empathy towards animals or owners. If you've never discovered that the Vet industry is just a meat market to them, this place will open your eyes. NEVER TAKE A PET YOU CARE ABOUT HERE! I'll be taking them to court shortly! Pros: Could have been bankers or insurance agents Cons: Not a fit place for healing of your beloved pet more

100% SATISFACTION! 10/21/2009

I have never seen a group of Doctors and Staff who were more caring. We took our Maltese in with what we thought was a UTI but it was more than that. The doctor insisted we should do XRays and discovered she had many bladder stones blocking her up which could have killed her. They were booked with surgeries, but they called clients until someone graciously gave up their appt so they could do emergency surgery. Every doctor and staff member was involved with her recovery and did all they could to answer questions and make sure she received proper care. She is alive and well today thanks to everyone who nursed her back to health. Thank you Huber Hts Animal Clinic... you are the best!!!! Pros: Terrific Doctors and Staff; very caring Cons: absolutely none. more

Dr. Perkins is great! Kirk G Dvm - Huber Heights Animal Hospital is 10/19/2009

He is the best! I love Dr. Perkins! He treated my baby(my dog) as if he were his own. He goes beyond the "normal" service. The staff has always been super friendly. I tried a different vet that was closer for me as I live 30 mins south of Huber Hts. I was so disappointed. Oh yeah, they had a new state of the art facility and also charged me $185 for an annual visit that consisted of a couple of shots! They were cold and while I had my 8 year old son with me, who had never been to the vet office, they were cold and rude and were very put off by his questions. I will drive the extra miles to go to a more caring vet. My dog has had 2 surgeries with Dr. Perkins and they were always ready to explain and answer some of my most ridiculous questions! He also saved my cat's life about 20 years ago, even calling me every night while my cat was "in the hospital" to give me an update! After 20 years, he still is my hero! more

Very Pleased! 10/15/2009

I have taken my dogs to this clinic on multiple occasions, and was VERY happy with the staff and care of my dogs. The techs were friendly and willing to answer all my questions. The only reason I changed vets is because I moved an hour away from this location more

Good Vet!! 12/31/2008

I disagree with the other comments. I have always found that the staff was very friendly and the doctors very good with my dogs. We have used these doctors for over 30 years and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. I would never hesitate to call them for help or to recommend them to anyone. Thanks for a great job! more

DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY!!!!!!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE RUDE RUDE 6/27/2008

I would never take my dog back to this facility.my dog wasyiping and crying when they took him back to get his bordetella vaccine.my dog never yipes unless he is being hurt they have a nasty facility along with rude workers and their vets are not professional at all. The only reason that the place is still in busioness is due to their location and prices. I would recommend never never use this facility for thier services not in this lifetime. I really am sorry that My dog had to go through this trama. they should be shut down for abusing animals more

Where'd the quality go???????? 6/4/2008

I've been using the HHAH for a variety of pets over the last 35 years. It used to be that staff were cordial and professional...now, the staff (especially the vets themselves) are rude, condescending, and seemingly uncaring. It used to be that everything was taken care of at once because a head-to-toe assessment was done; now the pet owner has to repeatedly ask for the "left paw to be examined when the 'reason' for the visit is due to a sore on the right paw!" There's no excuse for this lackadaisical attitude--I think it's time for an attitude adjustment or retirement as I plan to retire from using this facility any longer. more

Very Rude 8/5/2007

I recently acquired my very first pet ever. I chose Huber Hts. Animal Hospital because it was close to my house. I definitely made a bad choice. It was very run down inside, the floors looked dirty and unmaintained, the exam room looked unsanitary. A girl named Danny ( the vet "tech" ) took us into a room and after asking a few questions she treated me as though I were a fool...I simply have never had a pet so there were many things I was unaware of. I came to the vet to learn how to care for the pet, not to be made to feel badly for not knowing. Dr. Perkins was ok, if a little distant and condescending; but the worst thing was the way the "tech" girl treated us. She was whiny and loud and very insulting. I immediately made an appointment at a couple more vets to try to find one I'm more comfortable with, and I would NEVER visit this place again. more
