Frauds 7/27/2008

They left San Antonio leaving alot of people who had ""warranties"" that were no good They put in a ""new"" 13 seer a/c but within 6 months the compressor broke down Called Admiral phone disconnected office empty their service warranty no good There are a lot of empty wallets now because they ripped off dozens of people. not to say how good the company is but if you call the EPA you will find out that they do control the price of freon and it is 48.50 lb. If anyone is charging 20 lb they are not actually giving you the froen they are cheating you. This company has called me before they tell you that the reason they want to come out is to do an inspection if you do not want them out there do not make an appointment. Seriuosly you want to say how bad they are but get real get smarter and stop being dumb and do research find something that they did that will hold up instead of complianing on things done right and making you look dumb more

rip off 6/13/2008

Cold called. Sold me a ""servicing"" for $70. Nothing was done other than an inspection. Showed up and went to AC units out back without knocking on door and we have a privacy fence. Didn't add any freon or anything as part of their ""servicing"". Came back with an estimate of $4,200 in repairs. My AC unit is only 5 years old. Very suspect. more

Don't trust them 6/12/2008

The price of freon is not regulated by the EPA. The going rate is ~$20/lb. Admiral charged us $48.50/lb and guarunteed that they had fixed the leaks in the AC system. 40 days later, the system was leaking again and they would not honor thier promise to repair the leaks, saying they must be different ones. They also gave quotes to repair other AC features that were over twice the rate estimated by a second dealer. Stay away from them! They will rip you off! Cons: Everything more

froen is governed by the epa no company can charge more than the other one freon is the same price at every company. And the price is goverened at 48 a lb. As far as a mold problem if you have any mold there is a problem you do not just walk away from this. I am tired of people using this company for a check up and then when they do a complete check up you do not like what they find but by law they have to be honest with you. Go a head and call the little no name companies and it will hurt you in the long run because they just want a quick buck the big companies use referrals for business so it makes me mad to see idiots like the last comment talk about a business and not know what they are talking about. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY\r \r Technician claimes that the units need 2600.00 worth of repairs; charged 50/lb for 12lb of freon; tried to scare by saying that mold would get in the house if we didn't let him do the work.\r \r Called another company; units are fine, their price for freon was 17.50/lb.\r \r Lied about needing repairs; overcharged by 300%. WARNING!!! Get second opinion. 1/20/2008

""Cold called"" sales call to come out and service heater. Came out and said they couldn't complete service cause my unit was not operable and I needed a new one. Admiral was going to charge $3300 for one new heater unit, that's 2-3 times the price of a unit. Shut down my system and left (while 40? degrees outside). I called for a second opinion who said the service they promised was never complete and showed me that it wasn't complete, also said there was nothing wrong with my existing unit and turned it on again. more

top notch in my book.they have wonderful staff and they were very friendly even though it was a holiday they were very fast and have a wonderful warranty system. if i was to have another problem they would be the first people i would call very trust worthy. Pros: everything more
