They only have like 4 trucks or 5 or some small fleet like that and all there techs quit, they treat their own workers bad and also you as a custmer will surely be duped. They tel...

Admiral is rated "F" by the Better Business Bureau 6/24/2011

Good: Nothing to like about these scam artists.. Bad: Admiral Services (otherwise known as "Houston Admiral") has a Better Business Bureau rating of "F". They have numerous complaints filed against them, and the number keeps growing. All of this information is available on the BBB web site. Check it yourself. Don't ever use Admiral. Find a reputable company instead.. Improvements: For them to go out of business, and the owners to wind up in jail.. Other: Don't ever use these crooks. Find a reputable company instead.. more

Dont do it! 5/9/2011

They don't really fix anything. Both times I used them to look at my AC unit, they recommended replacing big chunks of it. I fell for it the first time, but I got a second opinion the second time and saved myself over $4000. I am not saying they are crooks, but I ran a quick inventory of the silver when they left. more

Houston Admiral Air Conditioning Are Crooks 4/27/2011

I recently had Houston Admiral service my air conditioning unit for annual maintenance. The tech's (ALEX) focus was on trying to sell me something I did not need; not on providing a service. First he tried to sell me contacts for the outside unit and a regulator (not needed). Within a week my unit went out. This time I had the contacts replaced. He still talked about me needing a regulator and a new motor for the outside unit. The motor on the outside unit still operated as required. A week later the unit is out again, only to need the inside blower motor supposedly. Now my annual service has turned into a $1,700.00 bonanza for them. Even after selling me a new blower motor the unit did as before; shutting off after start up. This leads me to believe the blower motor was not needed. It turns out all that was required was a new capacitor, installed by different technicians. They made an lame excuse as to why ALEX did not replace it. The unit is running fine for now. Avoid this company at all cost. I see why the had to leave San Antonio. Learn from my mistake. This company has a failing rating with the BBB. Good luck. more

Houston Admiral are Crooks 11/1/2010

Something needs to be done about this company. I honestly cannot believe they can stay in business. They way they treated my sister, installed an ac condensor improperly and charged her about $2500 more than the actual cost is beyond anything I have heard of. They then used profanity and threated to report her to the Sheriff saying she was illegally signing papers (what a joke!). They will be taken down -- it will just take some time. I do not want to read comments from Shawn or Kim or anyone in the family with the name Conley. You have no clue what a crooked company this is. more

Terrible Service - don't live up to their end of the deal 10/2/2010

This is the worst company my husband and I have ever done business with in our lives. We actually referred business to Houston Admiral b/c their initial service was good, but they did not follow up or follow through with completitoin of their service. I will NEVER refer another person to this company again!!!! If I could give a less than 1 rating on this site I absolutely would!!! I feel terrible for having ever referred them to friends. more

Ripped off Grandma 9/9/2010

They cold called my 87 year old grandma and offered a free inspection. I was at work/school at the time. We had her air condition serviced 1 month ago from another company, no need for a new unit at this time. They did their scam routine, told her the unit needed to be upgraded, when it was working just fine. She has dementia and I feel they really took advantage of her and she was the perfect victim in their scamming eyes. They charged her $5,100 for a $2,500 unit. I came home after the unit was installed and told them to get off her property. The check has been cancelled and we're filing suit against them after we get an estimate from a reputable company. more

over charge 8/17/2010

Bad: I was charged $650.00 for 10 minutes of service in March. I complained to the company. They sent out another tech that review the work (cleaning coils) and he told me they were clean. I told him I do not question if they were cleaned but the price. He told me someone would contact me. No one every did. I am suppose to have life time guarentee on this unit but at what cost. I was contacted again the week of August 9th for checek up but waiting for a new man name Troy to call me to discuss. No cal yet. more

I've seen the crooks work(on video) 7/20/2010

Your two man team is not so quiet! most people know one is a sale'sman and one is a so called tech, which most of the time they don't even check your system, I have proof of one black tech. surposed to be checking the condensor unit, while the so called superviser is in inside trying to SELL, something. the black tech, was sitting on the unit on the phone, for 14 1/2 minutes--14 and 1/2 minutes,(never even put guage's on)" then got off the phone, put his tools in the truck,and went inside and gave false readings to the superviser/salesman and HOMEOUNER!!!!!!. Want to be ac company,crooks,and the ouner knows all of this,and that is the bad part!!!You need to get out!!!!!!!!!!! more

Unethical Outfit 7/1/2010

I called for service in April. The repairman said I needed a relay to make the compressor come on. It took them 15 minutes to complete the job and they charged me $1240 for a $300 job!! I feel that Admiral A/C is a very unethical outfit. more
