dress of my dreams. they ordered the wrong size and tried to blame me. well, they reordered the dress and i went again for a fitting and discussed changes to made for my dress and made a finalfitting appointment, so my mom could drive two hours to be there. when i arrived that morning, NONE of the alterations were done and pissed that now wouldnt get to try it on before my big day. well, some artistic changes that didnt come out exactly as i hoped, i am willing to just chalk that up to creative differences. but the MAJOR problem was the fact that they flat out forgot to put the bustle on my dress. i had a beaded satin cathedral train dress, i mean HEAVY, and there i was at my reception with NO bustle, (one that i had paid $150 for, mind you)... not a pretty picture. I arrived at appt. time totry dresses, I was told to go look through a rack of dresses and brought upstairs to change in a room FULL of strangers. I could barley move! I tried a couple of dresses, none of the size 10 dresses fit very well, so the sales lady says(in front of me) ""get some dresses out of the big girls room"" Now I'm no expert but that's just rude!! With regret we did purchase the bridesmaids dresses here. Yet again crowded and rude. They have a great selection, I wish I would have found the dresses there and bought them somewhere else. When the dresses came in the girls went in to try them on. After the HOF found out that we were not having them altered there, they were rude and stopped helping us. My mom and I were treated horribly from beginning to end when we went in for our bridal consultation - we only ended up staying for about 20 minutes. I had brought in pictures from current bridal magazines of dresses that I liked, and the woman took one look and said 'You want a bridesmaid dress"" because I was interested in tea length gowns or gowns with color detail (both of which are very popular right now). I ended up looking at racks of colored bridesmaid dresses that were nothing like what I would ever get married in . I tried on one dress which they did not pin, even though it was several sizes too big. It was also very crowded and impersonal. I bought my wedding dress here and had the alterations done here. My hell started with the alterations. Every alteration appt I had was a HORRIBLE experience!!! The customer service is absolutely the worst I have EVER experienced. The alterations staff argues with you and will not accomodate what you request. They hardly speak a English which makes it really hard to communicate. They ruined my dress By taking it up 3 inches above the floor. NO one apologized to me and no one would admit that there was a problem with the dress... they all stood around acting like my dress wasn't ruined. It took 3 hours for them to fix my dress and I had to pick a less poofy slip just so the dress would be at a decent lenght. If you decide to buy your dress here DO NOT GET YOUR ALTERATIONS DONE AT THE STORE!!! Cons: Staff, Manager, Alterations more
