Terrible!!\r Called this office this morning at 9am, receptionist said a practitioner would call back, and they wouldn't give me an appointment either. I waited to 4pm called them, I could clearly tell that receptionist forgot to relay the message. She put me on hold for a few minutes came back and apologized because she forgot. She then started relaying a message from the Doctor about my daughters illness. I demanded a call from the Doctor. He called back and could have cared less about his irresponsible staff. My daughter is important, she is not a number and she will not be forgotten about.\r Would not recommend this practice not to mention the 1hr + wait times for a visit. more

The service at this place reminds me of the way things used to be at the Department of Motor Vehicles. Don't expect your prescriptions to be faxed in anytime soon after your pleasant visit, most likely you'll have to call back and remind them.(second time this has happened in two days) Prepare for an attitude, incompetence, or both on the other end of the line.\r \r On a positive note there wasn't much of a wait in the office this time. I guess people are wising up and taking their children elsewhere. more

These offices always have a wait, I've had it and am now deciding to switch to another practice because my appointments don't seem to matter. I arrived for my 4pm appointment at 3:52pm and wasn't told there was a wait by any of the staff members at 4:30 I walked up to the counter to check on the wait and was told that ""the 4pm was a hard appointment to get"" I myself wasn't worried about the appointment time. I was worried about if this happens to just me or to every client. There was another time I had a Monday morning appointment for my other child and was told that the wait was because it was a Monday. At that appointment not only did I wait 22min in the waiting room but an additional 30min in the actual room for the doctor. I'm tired of rude staff members treating my time as if it didn't matter! When I call and leave messages they aren't returned..lucky for me I know my appointment times because they never call to confirm them.... The only reason why I gave one star is because it's easy for them to schedule an appointment but they don't know how to keep them! It wasn't this bad two years ago..I wonder what happened? more

Front Desk...etc. 3/19/2012

A few weeks ago i brought my son in for his yearly check up. I get my 2 young kids ready, take them all the way downstairs, just to get in there and be told that in fact my appointment had been cancelled because that dr had been out the past 3 days on a personal matter. I am in no way mad at the dr, but the front desk is another thing. Is there any reason why they didnt call me? I walk in to check in and the lady said o did u not get a phone call, and i said the only call i got was CONFIRMING my appointment, and shes like o im so sorry someone was supposed to call you, so im standing there with my two kids feeling like an idiot. Most offices would try and fit you in since it was THEIR mistake not mine, but apparently the person who was supposed to call and cancel my appointment also forgot to cancel at least 3 others so im assuming the dr was booked bc of that. So they had me come in the next day same time. The waiting is redic. Please dont take me and children in the room if im gonna be waiting 30 mins for a dr to come in, i would rather let them play in the waiting area, do you know how hard it is to entertain a 13 month in those rooms?? And lastly...i was in the office at 9AM for an appointment at one time and i heard the front desk lady say to another, we are really busy today so leave the phone off the hook till prolly 12, the desk manager knows and OKd this...that would explain why when i call sometimes at 9 bc my children are sick that i can get through until almost 12. I had moved my kids here bc they were at a family dr who wasnt really giving me many options when my children were sick, but at least he came in the room within 5 mins and his front desk was nothing but nice to me and my family, and they would never take the phone off the hook no matter how busy they were. I will continue to take my kids to holland, bc i do like the drs and they have really helped out when my babies are sick, but i believe they should hire an all new front desk area...... more

We pretty much like this office, the one front desk person is extremely helpful and pleasant, while the other not so much. The nurse that is usually there is horrible, she is so un pleasant, never a smile, never a nice greeting and she def has sinus issues as she is always sniffling, rather unpleasant to be around Have never had an iissue with any of the dr's all seem nice but I would prefer to have one be my daughter's dr instead of it always changing. more

I do have to agree with some of the reviews already posted about this practice. Wait times are, in fact, long. Nurse staff that I have personally seen are not overly personal and do not seem to genuinely enjoy children, in my opinion. Staff at the front desk, in my experience, are pretty friendly face-to-face, but not so much on the phone. In fact, I have made it my practice to actually pack up kid(s) and go to the office to make my appointments instead of being put on hold or being hung up on over and over. It's inconvenient, for sure, but insurance necessitates most of our healthcare choices, unfortunately, and so I feel somewhat stuck. I have also left messages for the doctor that have not been returned ever. (I am considering no return phone call in two months a non-returned call.) more

Terrible 1/9/2012

When our daughter was first born this seemed like a good place. However, the more visits we have to the buck road office the more we dislike it. We are now switching to a new provider after another episode like yesterday-- We had a 10:00am wellness check appt. We got there at 9:45ish and were taken back after only waiting a few minutes. By 9:55 we had height and weight checks done and were in the room waiting for the doctor. After 10 minutes of waiting with a (mostly) naked 15 month old in a tiny 10x5 room with no toys you can imagine how things started to get. At the 15 minute mark I went outside the room to walk around to give her something to look at. I asked one of the assistants when the doctor would be coming and was told we were next. Not for another 10 minutes were we seen by a doctor. 25 minutes later! For the 3rd or 4th consecutive visit we saw a doctor we had never seen before. Our daughter was obviously very rammy at this point while she was being checked out, so I made the passive aggressive comment, ""sorry she's a little rammy from being in this room for almost half an hour."" The doctor looked at me puzzled and just said, ""oh."" After her 5 minute check she said, ""sorry for the wait"" on her way out. As I was setting up our 18 month appointment we were faced with the always miserable desk staff who act like every question or response you give is the wrong one. We've had enough. more

Holland Peds at Dresher 12/9/2011

Overall, an awful experience! There are a few doctors that rotate into this practice from Bucks county office, I believe. However, there is one doctor that seemed to take over and become the primary physician at the Dresher location. He was miserable! He was abrasive, always seemed disinterested in what you were telling him and during exams didn't do a thorough exam, in my opinion. More importantly, he did not spend more than a few minutes with my kids (whether it was a well visit or sick visit) and did not have the interest/time in explaining things to us. It also didn't help that the maIn nurse assigned to him, although new, was just as unplesant as this doctor. She seemed genuinely annoyed by our presence and the kids started to get scared to go to doctors (ages 6 and 8) It made for a very unpleasant experience from start to finish. more

Great Practice 6/14/2008

Very helpful staff, it's always easy to get same day appointments when the children are sick. Most of the Docs are fantastic, but it's also easy to generally see the same one or two so the chldren get familiar and comfortable with them. We are very pleased with this practice! Pros: Fantastic, caring Docs, great staff, they are very helpful and accomodating Cons: Not the ""newest"" looking facilities, could use a paint job! more
