Hoehn Honda

I bought a Honda Accord there 5 years ago, and have always used their service department for regular maintenance. I felt like I got an excellent price on the car, and that they always treated me fairly -- in the sales process and in performing very good maintenance service. No complaints at all from me. more

I liked my service rep, Johnny Ramirez. He gives me straight answers. He has my best interest. I have a lot of respect for the dealership. It's clean and convenient. They work fast and do the work right. more

Since I have owned my 1999 Honda Accord, I have almost always taken it in for repairs at Hoehn Honda because the mechanics/technicians, parts advisors, and service advisors are welcoming and knowledgeable, especially Service Advisor, Omar Atilano. When my car is at Hoehn, I am comfortable my car is in good hands. Unlike other dealerships, Hoehn did not try to upsell unecessary parts and extra services if I did not need them. And if minor or major problems did arise, they did not make me feel an urgency to fix or purchase a part or service if I could afford some time to wait. Explanations of the services performed are easy to understand while not making you feel as if you cannot grasp the technical concepts. Honda owners will leave confident with their cars. more

I just bought a brand new civic at this dealership and had a great experience. My salesman was Clark Overstreet, we went to him first earlier this month when we were still shopping around for different makes and models. He took a lot of time to show us all the details of several different cars, even though we assured him we were not buying that day. there were no high-pressure sales techniques whatsoever. When i came back, ready to buy, he gave me a good price, and there were many cars on the lot to choose from (I had been to a dealership that offered a price that was only slightly below the deal i got at hoehn, but had only one car in the wrong color. absolutely nothing to choose from. I plan to drive my car for many years and want the one i buy to be the perfect one for me). We easily found the car i wanted when we went back to hoehn, and were able to test drive the exact car before purchasing. we were completely happy with it. Paperwork was painless and we were in and out of the dealership fairly quickly. Clark showed me how to work every single button and feature in my new car before i left. And when i left, he waited for me to drive off the lot and waved as I was leaving. We felt like he took good care of us, and we got a good deal on the perfect car for me. more

The service was covered under warranty. They took care of everything. They took care of everything. They even rechecked everything and topped off the fluids that I did not expect. That was nice. It was excellent. more

In 2006 I purchased my new Honda Accord EX-L with Navigation here. I had done my homework with pre-approval for the loan and the Costco and AAA purchase program. I felt the experience was positive and have been happy with the car since. So happy that I've returned for regular service since the 2006 purchase. I am able to schedule my service online and am able to wait for the car in their comfortable waiting room. The waiting room has wireless access and many types of coffees, teas and hot chocolate. I recently had to schedule "emergency" service. I was seen the next day and in and out in one hour. No, I don't work there. I will probably purchase my next car there. more

Good: Hoehn Honda in Carlsbad has unprofessonal service reps and very inexperienced technicians. Due to their neglegence of my battery cable corrosion the whole cable now needs to be replaced. I took my Honda Element in for them to inspect and the kid who inspected the battery cable screwed it up and while I was driving, the car completely shut down, which could have been extremely dangerous. They are replacing my cable now and have had the car for four hours. It should only take an hour or less to replace.. Bad: low customer service and terrible inexperienced service techs.. Improvements: More experienced technicians who know what they are doing and better service reps without attitudes!. Other: I will never go Hoehn Honda of Carlsbad again nor would I recommend this dealership for any type of service.. more

I want to let you know what a wonderful experience I had leasing a car from Hoehn Honda in Carlsbad. Larry Chesney was my Sales "MAN" and boy was he the "MAN" . Not only did he make the whole processes of leasing a vehicle easy but he made me laugh while doing it!!! I came in to Hoehn misinformed about leasing a vehicle and Larry took the time to educated me on the whole processes ! He definitely turned lemons into lemon-aid ,actually he turned it into a lemon-aid daiquiri that's how good he is !! It seems that you pick winners for your staff because the beautiful Arin Clemenson was down to earth and wonderful to deal with as well. Thank you for having a great service team meeting your customers’ needs. I won’t go into the multitude of time consuming problems I ran into with my tire supplier of over 20 years to replace a non-repairable blown tire on my Certified used ‘04 Honda CRV EX 4WD purchased at Hoehn in Carlsbad in June, 2008. After speaking with Kathy on the phone and her interface with Jose‘ and Bob Murphy in my regard, and the patience and service provided me by my Service Provider, John Ramirez, my problem was expediently solved this morning and I am a grateful and satisfied customer back on the road. I purchased a Honda Ridgeline in 2007. I do all the routine service on my own and I recently needed to bring my auto in for several small issues. The service department at Hoehn Motors did a great job in fixing my minor problems quickly and efficiently. In addition, the service advisor that assisted me was so professional and helpful.
