I not only bought my car here but take it here for service! Everyone was so helpful and nice! I got a great deal on my trade in and got a brand new civic for less than i was paying for my 2007 car! This is by far the best car experience ever! They have an amazing staff who goes out of their way to make sure you are happy! Awesome waiting room and coffee machine! I highly recommend Hoehn Honda! I will be back! more

Awesome car buying experience! Up front, honest, and very fair. Yes, we negotiated and they respectfully told me when I was too unrealistic on my negotiations. Bottom line, my family walked out with a new car we love and it was a win-win for my family and the dealership. \r \r Our sales rep was top notch, Robert Gladding. He was very knowledgable on the model we wanted (and their competition). My wife and I visited 6 dealerships in total, 3 of which were Honda dealers in San Diego and Robert was by far the most knowledgable sales professional.\r \r If you're in the market for a Honda, come pay Robert a visit! more

Al Maxey made my first car buying a experience so easy. I was in and out of the dealer within an hour. Al put me at ease by answering all my questions and making sure that I got the best deal on my new Honda. I was very satisfied with my new car, but even more satisfied with the high level of customer care that Al gave me. I highly recommended going to Al next time you want to purchase a Honda. more

Jesse in the Service Department made this the very best dealer service experience I have ever had. When I came across my paperwork. This was for a relatvely minor issue, but it was handled quickly and honestly, and I actually felt my business was valued. I had stopped going to dealers because of my negative experience with another Honda dealer in the Kearny Mesa area of San Diego. After working with Jesse at Hoehn Honda I can honestly say I will not hesitate to return for my future service or repair needs, or to recommend this dealer to others. I even asked Jesse to write down his name so I could write this review. Thanks a bunch, Jesse! more

We have used for Hoehn intermittedly for servicing our 2000 Civic LX sedan and have been pleased with the service we receive. I say intermittedly because we have also used a local independent service provider, which we are unlikely to do any longer. On some recent service needs, Hoehn actually was significantly less expensive (and did less work) than the independent. And, importantly, the car now runs better than it has for some time. So I can recommend them. Good people that do good work. Like all dealers, you pay more than you would need to pay with a competent independent service operation; the trick is fining a COMPETENT independent service operation among the forest of incompetents. A good dealer like Hoehn saves one that problem. more

The Hoehn family has been in the car business since 1938 with the original Hoehn Chevrolet, founded by Theodore W. Hoehn.The company, headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee was transferred to Theodore W. "Bill" Hoehn, Junior. After moving to La Jolla, California for what turned out to be a short-lived retirement, Bill founded Hoehn Motors in Carlsbad in 1975. Bill's two sons Bill and Bob now own the business. Today, the family is proud to say that there is a fourth generation of Hoehn car dealers working in the business: Ted, Jo Hannah, and Susanah Hoehn.
