Thank you for a wonderful experience top to bottom. Alfonso, my salesman was terrific and so was the financial person (I think her name was Erin?) I brought the car in to service yesterday for Teflon and the service dept was also friendly and very helpful. My service man's name was Morgan. more

i just had my one and only good experience at a car dealership here. traded in my old civic for a brand new one. after being given the runaround for weeks at every other place in "car country carlsbad" i almost gave up and decided to keep my old civic until it died. luckily, ray rogers at hoehn was an awesome salesman and kept working to get me into a car i actually wanted, instead of the pieces of junk they tried to push me into at the nearby dealerships. i highly recommend hoehn. i haven't had it serviced here yet, i hope that will go just as smoothly. more

Great Service, not pushy 3/18/2010

We recently went to Hoehn Honda to buy a 2005 Honda CRV, knowing that this was the car we were interested in. The salespeople weren't pushy at all (at least no the ones we came into contact with). They gave us a great price, including the warranty, that we couldn't turn down. We were originally going to shop around for a better deal, but their offer was so good, we took it! -Jennifer K. more

Terrible customer service. 2/16/2010

After they didn't correct my car's problem, I complained. They said they'd pick up the car and investigate the problem thoroughly. None of that happened. They didn't even look at the problem. When I complained again that none of their promises came true, the general manager and service manager ignored me. Stay away from this place. more

Very Happy 6/9/2009

After much research and many phone calls, we decided to purchase a Honda Odyssey. We went to a different dealership at first only to be treated poorly. We live in Carlsbad and decided to try our local branch. We were greeted warmly and felt comfortable there. We highly recommend this dealership. We would like to give special recognition to "Scuba Bob" (actual name on his shirt)the salesman, and to Erin in the finance department. more

Low Pressure Sales 8/15/2005

I bought my first car on my own here. The sales staff was very friendly and helped me to qualify for my first car loan. I never felt any pressure to buy. They let me look around on my own and was ready to help me once I approached them with my questions. Their selection is good and the service department is great. more

The Hoehn family has been in the car business since 1938 with the original Hoehn Chevrolet, founded by Theodore W. Hoehn.The company, headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee was transferred to Theodore W. "Bill" Hoehn, Junior. After moving to La Jolla, California for what turned out to be a short-lived retirement, Bill founded Hoehn Motors in Carlsbad in 1975. Bill's two sons Bill and Bob now own the business. Today, the family is proud to say that there is a fourth generation of Hoehn car dealers working in the business: Ted, Jo Hannah, and Susanah Hoehn.
