Great service but parts way too expensive 3/4/2013

Rodney provided excellent service and quick response, but Hertiage Plumbing charged $217 for a part (Honeywell Q3200U1004 Glowfly Universal Igniter) that costs anywhere from $21-30 and a six-pack of them at $155-185 at most parts suppliers. Really feel like they took advantage of us. I can see the service portion being more expensive and especially afterhours, but why would they gouge on the parts price that badly? Concerned and may need to contact state agency, besides other consumer-interest offices. Again service was great, and is why we normally call Heritage for service as a repeat customer -- now we're not so sure to continue that practice (seen high parts prices before -- this one was over the top). more

Rob was on time and did the job in a timely manner. He was pleasant and cleaned up after the job was finished He checked to be sure everything was operating correctly when he was done. Rob went the extra steps to help me out and I would have him do other plumbing work for me. more

Quick response and repair! 2/28/2013

I called yesterday afternoon with a major problem affecting two different apartments. Keith arrived within 30 minutes to assess the situation. He stopped the leak that was creating the damage with minimal interruption to the tenants and returned this morning at 8am sharp to address the repair. In less than 4 hours he completed the job successfully and we are back in business. Thanks Keith! more

New Heating System Installation 2/27/2013

The team of Kevin and Mike from Heritage was OUTSTANDING!. They arrived on time, completed the job as promised, and walked us through every step of the process. They never hesitated to answer any of our questions and went out of their way to ensure our total satisfaction. We were having issues with our gas furnace/hot water heater but weren't sure what the problem was. Heritage Plumbing and Heating sent technician Peter M. to our house to check out the system and diagnose the problem. Peter was EXTREMELY professional, polite,personable and knowledgeable about our system and was able to explain what the problem was in a way we could easily understand. He explained our options, was not 'pushy', and completed the work we needed done that day. Our system is running nice and quiet now like it should. We couldn't be more pleased with the service Peter M. provided us. Thank you! more

Service from David C. at Heritage 2/21/2013

I came home from a trip to Florida and found my house at 42 degrees with the furnace off. I called Heritage and David C. arrived as promised. He needed a part which was not immediately available. After I pushed a little bit David C. drove about 120 miles round trip to get the part and stayed at my home solving problems until the furnace was working. the next day the furnace conked out again and David immediately camy back and contacted the manufacturer to solve the problem and provide a permanent solution to my problem. David was always professional and pleasant! He went above and beyond to get the part so that I could get the house warmed up again. I greatly appreciate his effort and skill. Mike G more

Drainage repair and dishwasher installation 2/16/2013

Scott gave an estimate for a dishwasher installation. At that time we discussed concerns with the house drainage system, which had several problems including some improper venting. Scott gave estimates that included various scopes with pricing for each option. We decided to have the entire drainage system replaced. The work was completed in one day, as promised, and came in at the estimated price. The drains have never worked better, and visually all of the work is obviously professional. The dishwasher installation is also excellent. We could not have been more pleased with the work. more

A Great Experience 2/15/2013

The techs, Eric and Will, were very professional, polite, prompt, and organized. They presented options to me and helped me in my final decision. The work was well done and they cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend Heritage to friends and family because of the way Eric and Will conducted themselves. I know that I will call them if and when I need a plumber. more

Rinnai heater detective 2/14/2013

Dennis came to clean and then service my elderly Rinnai heater. He was both friendly and thorough each time he was here. He had to be extremely patient while waiting for the Rinnai company to answer his phone call (very annoying music), and he stayed connected with the service person until they figured the problem out. I appreciated his perseverance with a system that was foreign to him. He solved the problem. Keep snowboarding, Dennis! more

Water Heater Replacement Service 2/14/2013

Service was excellent. Arrived in a timely manner. Work completion was as promised . All was left spotless. Checked for any additional plumming needs in my home, saving me any additional time off from work. I will continue to use Heritage's services for all my plumming, heating and AC needs. Great job with the chimney connection 2/11/2013

Mike S. came out to disconnect the Power Vent and connect the heater to a new chimney. Mike did a wonderful job; he did the annual cleaning; checking the system and then went on to connect the system to the chimney. I couldn't have asked for better service. For the first time in years I don't wake up to the Power Vent turning on in the middle of the night. It was nice knowing that I was getting the job done right and I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of since I knew nothing about what had to be done. Thanks for the great job! more

Mike went above and beyond for our hot water install. We were very happy with the quality of service, level of explanation and professionalism. He went through the system with us while explaining everything thoroughly and how to adjust the settings properly. Maintenance of Gas-Fired Hot Water Heater 2/1/2013

Scott recentlly did maintenace on my water heater. He was totally familiar with the system, and give me choices about the repair options for maximizing its life. He had to travel to the next town pick up a part, and that he did within a short time. The unit is back in operation, and I was totally satisfied with the work done. more
