This note is long overdue, but my recent experience at your dealership reminded me that I owe it you guys to point out how Jeff Bitner goes above and beyond on a regular basis and how good he is for Hendrick. I don’t have time to point out all the things he has done over the last 2+ years since I bought my car but I think it says enough that because of Jeff, I actually look forward to bringing my car in for service because he always goes out of his way help me pass the time and takes it as a sales opportunity to show me BMWs latest and greatest, even if my lease was 35 months out and sometimes knows I can’t afford what he’s showing me. He even showed me the Ghost you had a few months back. I think the carpet in that thing was softer than my mattress. Jeff exemplifies what BMW is all about and he takes pride in performing at a high level every single day. He doesn’t take days off and it shows. I view luxury car sales to be as much about a differentiated customer experience as mechanical performance. Jeff isn’t the reason I feel like safe driving my 335 twice the speed limit, but he is the reason I don’t look at Mercedes and if I buy another BMW when my lease is up in 9 months, Jeff will be a big reason why. Net-Net, Jeff treats people the right way and I doubt that enough people take the time to look your emails up online and let you know about it. Please make sure everyone in his reporting chain sees this email. I know for a fact (a fellow BMW customer and colleague at Cisco) that I’m not the only one that feels this way. Good selling.
