I have been using Heath's Income tax for 11 years. I have always gone direct deposit and NEVER had any problems with my refund. Direct deposit is the fast free way to get your money back, ALL OF IT! All these people with rapid refunds should bring their checkbook in and get the refund put there instead of expecting a bank to give you a LOAN immediately. The banks used by tax companies and the IRS are the only ones who can even TOUCH the money. Bring in the small charge for service and get it mailed or direct deposit. Don't blame the tax people! No where in the building or boards is it PROMISED you will get a BIG REFUND! No one there would promise you that! Also, wait until March and April and the wait is so small, sometimes walk right in. The owner now only sees his returning customers, but the rest of the staff do like he does and I have been happy with everyone there! Friendly, down to earth, and relaxing environment. I asked about the phones and they told me that they had a lightning strike that struck the lines and have had repairmen out several times. It really wouldn't matter if they had 20 lines, it would ring like a radio station and people would still complain about not getting through. Yes, hours and days trying to get through is annoying, but I know they also get so tired working 7 days a week nonstop 12 hours a day...I commend those friendly people and will be returning for the next 50 years!! I live out of state and mail my tax return to Andy to process. Last year Andy did a great job with my tax return, along with my brother-in-law's. One complaint is it can be difficult to get in touch with Andy as he is very busy during tax season. There is no need for rapid returns in my opinion. Andy process the return quickly and effectively and the money is in my account within a couple weeks. Great job at Heath Income tax. I will update as soon as my return is processed this year. My husband and I have used Heath for the last 5 years. I think he does a wonderfull job of getting you as much money back as he can. I think his staff and himself are down to earth friendly people. I even had a issue where I forgot to turn in a disability check from when I was out of work sick. It was totally my fault! The IRS wrote me a letter scaring me, trying to say I owed all my refund back plus interest. I took it to Heath for advice and one of his staff memebers helped me with it for no charge. I ended up not oweing the IRS after all. They actually owed me more money. I am very gratefull to him and I would not recomend no one else! They are also children friendly...I have a 2 year old son who is hyper and they were very understanding and helped me deal with him long enough to get our taxes done. Phone service is terrible. I got no call, no communication whatsoever. When they get their money they don't care from that point. While sitting in the waiting area to get my taxes done the lady at the front desk was trying to be comical in saying I'm not answering the phone, can't you see our sign says closed. It rang the whole time, I was there and it was normal business hours. I was told I would get my refund by Thursday 2/12 and I am still waiting. No one called me, I live over an hour away and could not get anyone by phone for 3 days so I went down there. All they say is call the IRS, which they told me I could not have it that quickly from the beginning and they should have known that. They took the money for rapid refund and I'm still sitting here waiting. How is this allowable? When reading on the internet I see so many negatives about this place I will def use someone else next year! Not worth it! Pros: They get your money back. I can only speak for myself and the dozen or so folks that I spoke to today in line. Larry and his associates are the best group at saving money for "you". I found out about larry 2 years ago and could not be more satisfied with his help. I spoke to several that come from around the state and they continue to see Larry and his staff for one reason. They are simply the best. Sure you wait in line, but like most good things in life, they are worth waiting for. For all you complain about Heath Income Tax, as i was leaving their is another tax service same complex no line, no waiting, wonder why? Simply put Larry is their to help and serve you by getting you the best possible return he can on your taxes. No complaints at all, except how to spend all this extra money I get back by using their service. I will continue to go back from this point forward. I went to Heath's for the first time this year on the recommendation of friends. Yes their service and knowledge is great. My refund was good, BUT there has been a problem with my return going through the system. I spoke with an employee by phone who told me my file was locked up in the system and was glad I called. She stated Larry would send it through that night, and for me to call the next morning. I have been calling for 2 days, and get either the answering service or fax. I have been calling from 6am -4pm with no luck. I went as far as sending a fax and asking someone to call me back, and no one has called. I should have already had my return, but I can't even find out if the second attempt to send it has gone through. My only gripe is they need a new update phone system so people can get through. Would I recommend them to others, sure. My husband and I were treated well, I'm only frustrated with the phone service. more

My name is Larry Heath Im the owner of Heaths Income Tax as far as the taxfraud guy he thought he could show a 10,000 loss and get a refund we told him they only way to get a refund was to pay taxs and he was told that from the start. But this guy theaten to beat my butt and backed up and said I could be a dead man. Sure I took a guy out of my desk and put it on it, Someone theated my life. what he didn't know was the lady at my desk was a sheriff dep and the guy behind him was a State Trooper, Great witnesses"" I was told I could have him arrested for the thearts, but me being nice I asked if they could let him go and tell him not to come back. I waited in line last Saturday for 6 hours outside. I was referred to Heath Tax Service from a family member from Rome, Ga. I have not recieved my refund yet,but there were lots of people upset about paying for rapid refund and not getting it.
