Alison is a fantastic colorist and stylist - but most of all her customer service is top-notch. I LOVE my haircolor! She is a gem!

Worst

I thought my stylst was great however I believe the price was a little out of hand $40?? Yes I enjoyed the scalp massage and the hand massage but when she was finished blow drying...

Just got my hair cut by Angela -- she knows how to cut my hair so I look good from every angle. My wife like my hair cut too! Great job Angela -- see you in a couple of weeks for my next cut. more

I have becoming to this salon for quite some time now, and I must say I really enjoy everything about Aveda. But what makes me keep coming back is the service, I see Maggie for any waxing or massage that I need, and she is FANTASTIC! She is always in a good mood, smiles, and really wants to make sure you are completely stastified when you leave! more

Haircut and color 10/13/2011

My service was a cut and color. Both were great and the one that gave the service was very upbeat and stylish. She also was very confident in her suggestions that she gave me in terms of tweaking my style with the cut. I have a history of changing salons and stylists and that practice won't change, but I will definitely make this place more often. Price was higher than needs to be. I really don't want to spend $150.00 every 4 weeks. I'm not cheap, just not stupid. more

I had no problem with my stylist. I like her and she did a fine job, But I am not happy that I had an appt. on Saturday had my regrowth done a hair cut and accent foils (8). By the time I added tip nearly $200. Then on Monday I get an email saying if I schedule for this I will receive a free lip product and condition treatment. If I would have known I would have waited. I have two appts scheduled and I am not sure I will come back. I always buy a product of some kind when I'm there. It would have been nice to get a small gift. more

Excellent Service! 9/27/2011

I had been attending the Headquarters Salon and Spa in Lorain and decided to switch to Westlake, because I plan on moving further out to Cleveland soon. I loved the service! My hair stylist was promptly waiting when I arrived and the hand massage, scalp treatment, and hair cut were amazing. I highly recommend Alicia Dolan. She listened to all of my wishes of how I wanted my hair cut and styled. She was very meticulous, attentive, and she did not make the appointment feel rushed! more

Overpriced and left with damp hair 9/24/2011

The stylists and receptionists were nice enough, but I think $55 plus a tip for a haircut should include styling after it's cut. I went to HQ for the first time recently and was seeking to have my style changed somewhat. Well I got the cut and the totally unnecessary scalp and hand massage I never ask for and which just ups the price, had my hair partially dried with a diffuser, and left with damp hair. If it isn't dried and styled, how do I know the cut was what I wanted? Had that been done, the cut could have been adjusted until it was right. Guess what--I don't like it. Now do I have to go back to get it recut? Will I be charged for that? Probably. Actually, I won't be going back at all. It was an awfully short and incomplete appointment for $55. Guess you have to pay extra for the five minutes it takes to style your hair after it's cut. more

Mediocre Haircuts 9/23/2011

This is the third time I have had my hair cut at Head Quarters and each haircut has been mediocre at best. My hair was longer before so it didn't matter as much but this time I had a lot cut off and wanted something stylish. This haircut is anything but. I look mousy and boring and it has no style to it whatsoever. This will probably be my last experience with Head Quarters and I will probably be making an appointment and spending more money to have this fixed somewhere else. more

Headquarters Feedback 9/17/2011

Melissa is my stylist and I have to say that I am incredibly happy with my hair and her service, and everyone at the front desk is also always very friendly and helpful! My only suggestions would be regarding the ambiance. The walls seem so stark, the space could use a little bit more of a cozy feeling with either color or art. And, most importantly, your hair washing stations are very uncomfortable...it would be nice if the seat were adjustable to the sink height. Getting your hair washed is one of the most enjoyable things about getting your hair done, but not if you are short and straining to get your neck over the edge of the sink. Thank you! more
