I went in to get service on my truck. My truck has 112,000 miles on it, so it needed all-around checking and maintenance. The guy did a great job, and I would say I would use them again. more

Ken seems to care about his customers. He does a really thorough job. I've been going to Hayward Auto Care for about three years now. Ken is reliable; he's thorough and diagnostic. You can leave your car in his shop and know that he will do his best to fix it properly using the recommended parts. more

Hayward Auto Care is just outstanding service. I've been going there for about two years. Ken recognizes the customer's needs and does what's necessary to meet them. It's an overall outstanding experience. He's a great guy; he's very competent and very reasonable as far as prices go. Speaking as a former certified auto mechanic who worked in the business before going back to college and into a different profession, Ken is great. He does exactly what needs to be done and doesn't rip people off. He takes pride in his work and wants to make sure everyone's needs are met and that they're happy and satisfied. If you need work done on your car, take it to him. Don't think twice about it. more

Consistent quality service. 8/2/2013

The service I've received at Hayward Auto Care has been good and after the fact I've been having no problems. I've been going there for about a year. The mechanic is good. He's very friendly and is also the person you interact with when you go in. So he does pretty well at being both a people person and being the person who does the servicing. He keeps his word. He's better than a dealership mechanic, but has the same quality as one. more

Hayward Auto Care just does good work! If there are any problems remaining, they take the car back and take care of it for free. They are also very willing to work around MY schedule to get the service done conveniently. more

Great Service 4/4/2013

I had my car serviced by Ken last year and they did an excellent job so I brought my friend to him and again Ken did a fantastic job in fixing her car and the price was unbelievable from the quotes she got from other repair shops and Ken took care of my friend and I hope he knows how much I appreciate the care he gave my friend and how he took wonderful care of her and her vehicle. As always Hayward Auto Care is the place to bring your vehicle if you want a great deal and great work. Thanks again Ken you are five stars all around. more

Excellent car shop. 1/22/2013

Hayward Auto Care has done engine and transmission work for me. All their work is really good. The car works great. Ken explains everything and will try to keep the price down if he can. more

Awesome Experience 1/11/2013

I went to Hayward Auto Care for maintenance service on my car. I needed a diagnostic and the fuel system cleaned out. Ken was very helpful. He is honest and will tell you what needs to be done. I was not able to pay for the service all at once and Ken helped me set up payments. more

Excellent and personalized experience. 1/9/2013

My transmission and some belts in the car were needed, and the fuel pump was leaking. I went on Google and found Hayward Auto Care. Since it's a small operation, you only have to spend about an hour there and then you can just leave the car with him. You can see him doing all the work and he will tell you what's happening. Once you're done, he'll give you preventative tips as well. more

I took my car into Hayward Auto Care for a tune-up and some other things. They were really helpful. They worked with me to get me in on the same day. They worked quickly, got it done, and the car runs great. more

When I walked into Hayward Auto Care, I actually didn't know that they spoke Chinese, but Ken speaks Chinese so he explained everything very well to me. After he checked out my car, he told me a lot about how to take care of it in the future. This was really helpful to me since I don't know a lot about cars, and he explained a lot so I could understand why service was needed. I feel comfortable talking to him, and I feel like he is very honest. Y. Lu more

You can't beat it. 10/3/2012

Hayward Auto Care is very personalized, extremely honest, and Ken's skill level is very high. When you combine the facts that they tell you the truth, do not inflate prices or underestimate problems, and give honest assessments and cost estimates, you can't beat it. They remove your biggest fears right off the bat. How do I know? Because I compare it with others, and plus, after they repair my cars, I don't have any problems. That's the biggest test. His honesty and skill is the key to his success. more

The people at Hayward Auto Care are really honest, competent, and give us a really good value. I think that they give us extra service. We have brought in our vehicles to them at least five different times and they have steam-cleaned the engine so that it looks new, or washed the car when it was dirty. They really do go out of their way to do extra and give extra service. more

Hayward auto care is the best and most reliable auto care I have found in the last 20 years. 9/25/2012

I've worked with Ken and brought my own and my son's car to him for, I don't know, the last eight years or something like that. He has always been a fair deal compared to doing the work myself, and the price for parts and labor costs less than elsewhere. He's the best. I have never had a problem with the work, and they always do a good job. more

Honest, trustworthy, and get the work done on time 9/24/2012

I have been going to Hayward Auto Care for many years. I started going there back when the uncle owned the business. I have to say that the current owner runs the place just as well as his uncle did, if not better. As far as work that they've done for me, you name it, they've done it, on multiple cars. It's just a great place to take your car! more

It's been great, I've been loyal customer since Ken opened the shop. I live in redwood City and I still go to Hayward Auto Care. They are fast, and they tell you how it is. No beating around the bush, the say what's wrong with your car, what needs to be fixed, and how much it will be. I have recommended them to my whole family. more

Very reliable service. 9/18/2012

Usually it takes very little time to get inside Hayward Auto Care, I can easily get an appointment for next-day service. Once I bring my car in, I get my car back the same day, every time. Time is very important to me, and for me their timeliness and speed is one of the most valuable features of the shop. more
