Excellent service! 5/20/2014

I have been using Hayward Auto Care for a long time. I continue to use them because they provide excellent service. The last time I used them they repaired the engine of my car. I trust them to tell me exactly what needs to be done and charge a fair price. I have never had any issues with the work that they have done on my car. more

Very satisfied customer 5/16/2014

I have a very good relationship with Ken of Hayward Auto Care. He is very reliable, is always there for me when I need help, and provides good service. He sees me on time, and is very fast. He does my oil changes, other types of maintenance, and a lot of other services on my car. I have known him for a long time, and he always gives good service. That is why I'm a regular customer. more

Outstanding! 5/6/2014

Hayward Auto Care was able to tell us, in detail exactly what was wrong with our car. We have used them before but, when we moved out of the area we decided to try another place. We took it to them twice and they could not tell us what the issue was. We decided to go back to Hayward Auto Care and they had everything taken care of in not time. Ken and his wife are wonderful. We are glad that we went back to them and will not go anywhere else in the future. They are very knowledgeable, straightforward and provide exceptional customer service. more

Reliable and efficient 5/2/2014

I have been with Hayward Auto Care for five years and they have the best prices. I have three cars and they maintain all three including repair, oil change, and maintenance. They are reliable and honest. It's hard to find a good mechanic these days and I'm glad I found one. more

Very knowledgeable and concerned 4/29/2014

Hayward Auto Care had to do a diagnostic on the electrical system and did that procedure. Then he communicated to me what the problem was and what it would take to correct it. Gave me options in terms of being rebuilt, offered to match my competitors, and backed his work. He was very knowledgeable and very concerned that we understood what was wrong. He made sure what he did was correct and that we were happy with he end result. more

Satisfied overall. 4/25/2014

Hayward Auto Care was prompt, friendly, and the location was very convenient for me. I had some work done for the fuel injector for my car, and everything is fine so far. It was my first time using their services, and I would definitely continue to use them. more

Excellent, professional, all done on time! 4/23/2014

This was my first time using Hayward Auto Care. I found them on a state website. I have a mechanic but he was busy. I wanted to switch ships and it worked out pretty well for me. They did a really thorough look over my vehicle, and I trust the suggestions they gave me. I had to get a new compressor and some work done on the engine. Everything turned out to my satisfaction. Their prices were similar to their competitors. more

Very good experience--I'll go back anytime again 4/22/2014

The last time I went to Hayward Auto Care, I had a smog and oil change. Three years ago, they put in a fuel pump and then a year after that, they did some more work for me. What I like is that they get you in and out. They even did work while I've waited. They're real quick. more

Perfect so far! 4/18/2014

I've been going to Hayward Auto Care for several years. I like that they go the extra mile. For instance, every time I get my tune up, they'll steam clean the engine for me and wash my truck. When I come back to pick it up, it looks like it came right off the dealership. more

Nice guys, but I felt it was pricey 4/17/2014

I went to Hayward Auto Care when my truck didn't pass smog. There was nothing else wrong with it, and I ended up having to pay $1,600 dollars for it to pass, which I felt was a little expensive. They were nice, decent guys, and my truck is still running. They do communicate well. Bill would call me regularly to let me know updates and how much I was going to be charged. Bill was really calm, and he didn't get too excited. They did a nice job, cleaning under the hood and detailing everything. I just thought it was a little pricey, so it was a bittersweet experience. more

Very professional, friendly, and very quick 4/9/2014

Hayward Auto Care did a smog check, an oil change, installed a brake light and it all turned out great! The mechanic, Bill, actually called me up and let me know the brake light was not doing so well so he reinstalled it. I thought that was pretty nice that he was looking out for that. more

Wrong Informationm 11/25/2013

I have brought my car to Ken and also recommended my friends and family to him but I will never recommend him again. I brought my car in to find out why my engine light was on because I needed a smog test done, Ken told me that I should just trade my car in that it had too many problems and that it would never pass smog. I took it to the dealer and my car is in great condition and all I needed was oil in my car there were no leaks as Ken stated and my car passed smog with flying colors. I am so disappointed in the information that Ken gave me and how wrong he was. Shame on you Ken for not being honest to me as I have been to you. The dealer said that there is no way you did a diagnostic on my car otherwise you would of seen I needed oil. I guess getting a second opinion is worth it. I thought Ken was an honest business owner but I was wrong, I will never recommend him to anyone. By the way my car is running like new. more

Excellent! 9/10/2013

I service my car at Hayward Auto Care. They've changed the oil every four or five thousand miles for the last ten or fifteen years. I have known them for more than fifteen years, so I trust them. When they promise to finish the service on a certain time, it's always done on time. They have very good customer service. It's also near my workplace, which is convenient for me. I would tell anyone to try them and that they can satisfy your service needs for any kind of car. more

Great service 8/29/2013

Hayward Auto Care fixed an engine problem on a 2001 Ford. I took it to several shops before, including the dealership, and nobody could fix the problem. He charged me a very reasonable price and guaranteed that if he didn't fix it, he wouldn't charge me. He fixed it! He even further guaranteed his work by saying that if it goes bad, I could bring it back and he would figure it out. He charged me $650 after I spent over $2000 at other shops trying to fix the problem. He gave great service. more

I've been using Hayward Auto Care for about five years, and I've gone to them for everything from regular maintenance to oil changes to a completely new radiator. They go above and beyond to provide excellent service to their customers. Ken always gives me a heads up on what might need service next, and I really appreciate that. I never had any problems, and that's why I keep going back. more

I have been going to Hayward Auto Care for about 20 years now, since Ken's uncle owned the shop. Ken does good work the first time around, meaning I don't have to come back a second time. That's huge with me. You can tell he takes pride in his work and likes to do a good job. more

Ken was super fast and did extra work for me. 8/12/2013

When I came in, Ken at Hayward Auto Care was able to take my car pretty quickly. He did the oil change in about 30 minutes, also completing a smog check for me despite the fact I hadn't scheduled one. He did it for me anyway, still having me in-and-out with all of that done in maybe 40 minutes! more
