I went to Hayward Auto Care when my truck didn't pass smog. There was nothing else wrong with it, and I ended up having to pay $1,600 dollars for it to pass, which I felt was a little expensive. They were nice, decent guys, and my truck is still running.
They do communicate well. Bill would call me regularly to let me know updates and how much I was going to be charged. Bill was really calm, and he didn't get too excited. They did a nice job, cleaning under the hood and detailing everything. I just thought it was a little pricey, so it was a bittersweet experience.
