Its a shame that Haynes is allowed to conduct business in Virginia. They never deliver on their promises and the same old story " its on back order". The in-store staff are very unprofessional and rude. I have nothing good to say about them so I am finished with them forever. This company is terrible. They put berber carpet and a kitchen floor in my house. the carpet has seam lines, places where the carpet has strings and parts missing??? As well the installer came by my house today advised he put in the metal piece that attaches to the kitchen floor and carpet in backwards making it pull up because he tacked it into the carpet. He advised he would fix it. As he ran to his truck three times, I walk back in to realize he damaged the wood paneling on my floor and put a unfitted piece back in and walked out with trash laying everywhere when he pulled the carpet up.. Now I have to go to BBB or sue them to fix it?? After which I showed back up to the store location to be called a lyer?? Yet I have everything on video.. Get the owners name E.J. Strelitz and a # for VA beach location, call up there to be told by Steve Gagg that I need to call back up to Richmond. I spoke to Karen Griffin who didn't even listen to the problem, hung up on me, when I called back to adv. I have no problem suing the company & the conversation was being recorded she hung up again. This is the most unethical place I have ever dealt with. Itâ??s a shame for the installer installed it incorrectly, caused damage to my home, and the carpet has been put down improperly, and is low quality with the fibers coming up??? I am currently on hold with them right now. ...I should be working and loosing commission due to them from my job?? They would need to reimburse for that as well.. As this is time taken away from my work?? more

The 1 Star is a Negative with two zeros behind it...Word to the wise, hard lesson learned here, check the tag, poor quality, no name junk. Purchased a nice looking, what seemed to be comfortable recliner, less than six months down the road the foam had worn down and I have a board poking me in the back. I called and they sent a "repairman" out to stuff it with more poor quality stuffing. I called their Service Dept again and their answer was we don't warranty comfort??? Isn't that what you buy a recliner for comfort??? After talking with a reputable furniture seller who said sounds like the chair was made with low quality foam, what brand was it? I don't know, they said it was one of the best. Light bulb, they said...at the time I had no idea what one of the best was...so I go home check the label, go figure, it was made in China. A sucker is born every day...Haynes got me once, they won't get me again...a little bit more money and I could of had a Lane or a Lazy Boy (see I did learn something:) Oh by the way, the reputable furniture store...they like Haynes, it's good for their business. Once you get taken you'll never go back. Suckers must run in the family, my parents spent a ton of money on mattresses from Haynes and they're not happy with them either. Hope this helps someone else from getting taken...if you're going to give your money away, give it to charity...at least you'll get a good feeling from that! more

I will never shop at Haynes again. They offered a 20% rebate in October that they bilked me out of. They didn't even want to discuss it with me. They didn't want to look up my name and tell my why. But they were sure as heck happy to take my money for the couch I bought there. In the future, I will go to another furniture store who offers customer service reps/customer service managers who are actually POLITE to customers. Furniture stores who wont bilk me out of rebates. more

If what you need is furniture and lots of it, Haynes is for you. And they are ALWAYS having a sale. We happened to be looking for 3 rooms of furniture at the same time and it just worked out that we found what we liked all in the same place. The stains on the furniture are not very well done. I've gotten water or contact solution on it and wiped it off within minutes and it leaves a mark. The bottoms, the drawer slides are wood and they chip and splinter if you aren't careful, and the backs are particle board. It's affordable, and it looks great. It probably will not last us forever though, considering my husband is in the Navy and we move a lot. I'm hoping to get at least 15 years out of it, because I absolutely adore our bedroom and diningroom furniture. Do NOT get the warranty they offer if it is still Stainsafe. That is the biggest rip off imaginable. But we got 3 rooms of furniture (living room, dining room, and master bedroom, plus the warranty (before we knew it was a rip off), plus delivery and set up for under $5500. more

Large local chain furniture store. This store advertises sales every week and each week is the BEST DEAL THEY HAVE EVER MADE! It is ridiculous. Each week they come up with a new gimmick. When visiting the store, the deals are not that great. If you know your prices you can probably get a good deal but I absolutely hate the advertising policy. It is very frustrating that there is a closeout sale on the furniture each week. It is hard to know what is really on sale and what is just regular prices advertised as sale prices. more
